The K-1 is designed for measuring CRT's and Plasma displays. It is color accurate, extremely sensitive and can be used for gamma measurements which require great sensitivity at low light. (For LCD measurements, see the K-10 data sheet.)
The Klein K-1 tri-stimulus CIE Colorimeter Probe is designed to be the best colorimeter in sensitivity, stability and speed. It attaches directly to a PC, and runs with the companion PC program. Whether a desktop or a laptop is used, the Klein measurement application is in control and many additional features are available.

Klein K-1 vs. K-10 Comparison
Measuring Range:
.00003-1575 fL .0001-5400 cd/m2 (Klein K-1)
.00006-2919 fL; .0002-10,000 cd/m2 (Klein K-10)
Accuracy (Illuminant A):
Chroma ± 0.002 x, y (displayed value > .05 cd/m2) (Klein K-1)
Chroma ± 0.002 x, y (displayed value > 1.00 cd/m2) (Klein K-10)
Luminence ±1% Y, ±1 LSB (displayed value > .0025 cd/m2) (Klein K-1)
Luminance ±1% Y, ±1 LSB (displayed value > .01 cd/m2) (Klein K-10)
Repeatability:
Chroma ± 0.002 x, y (displayed value > .05 cd/m2) (Klein K-1)
Chroma ± 0.002 x, y (displayed value > 1.00 cd/m2) (Klein K-10)
Luminence ± 1% Y, ±1 LSB (displayed value > .0025 cd/m2) (Klein K-1)
Luminance ± 1% Y, ±1 LSB (displayed value > .01 cd/m2) (Klein K-10)
From Tecnical Specs That K-1 Is More Accurate Than K-10 for Contact Measurements.
Any Idea For That Klein K-1 Colorimeter Price?
But Is Limited Only For Plasma + CRT Measurements, That's Why Is Not Widely Supported by Other Calibration Software (CalMAN or ChromaPure).
