The price drop has not happened yet. Does anyone have one and want to give a review? Does it stream netflix in HD/5.1?

Home Theater Magazine reviewed this unit (and the Sony version) a few months back in their print magazine. It may be on their web site. I skimmed through the article and IIRC, the review was not positive.

The price drop appears to be going live today. I'm torn on this. On the one hand I have no interest in its current state. But on the other there is potential from the upcoming 3.1 update and it's likely that once these are gone, they're gone.

I am a little torn too since my HDTV has apps but it does not have a web browser, which is dumb. I hope google TV integrates things better and runs the apps faster than my TV does. I think at $99 its worth the risk. Plus the gingerbread update may really improve stuff...I hope ;-/

Google should upgrade it to 3.2 because it has better scaling functions. But then Google is Google....

I wouldn't worry about. It's not going away for $99. I want one too but it won't work with the FIOS boxes until I get the 1.9 update, and I'm kind of interested to see the other GoogleTV boxes that will come out with the Honeycomb update.

Good demo of the Revue features. Pretty slick. According to amazon, netflix app has been updated to support search, not sure if it has 5.1 sound. I am about to order as the price has been dropped once you add it to cart. Amazon has dropped their price too. I will buy it from them instead. That way if its a POS I can return it.

Logitech promises when the Android 3.1 update comes to Google TV later this summer, customers can expect an even richer experience than they've already gotten on the struggling platform, including simplified access to the Android Market. I sure hope so.

Google gave me a Logitech Revue and I paid too much. The only thing I found worthwhile at all was watching ESPN3 on it which wasn't all that great in and of itself. I will say I was very anti-keyboard and ended up impressed by how nicely it worked. It also controlled my TiVo and AV receiver effortlessly. Although the image was a bit dark with everything passed through it. All and all it was a pleasure to use but there wasn't anything worth using it for... my 2 cents. If Hulu and other such content wasn't blocked it would be well worth the $99. Especially if you didn't have other streaming devices for Pandora, Netflix, etc.
