Might be time to upgrade your computer monitor, the photos only as good as the monitor. There was no visable blooming on the set or on the shot on my monitor. All full-array sets have blooming from the off angle. I printed the photo and used half the black ink cartridge.

Can you please post pictures of your EZ tool options?

Also, I would like to point out that you dont actually have to run the in-stop command THIS IS FALSE to enable 3d processing. Just turn you TV off/on after you make the EZ changes... I did run the instop though just for good measure. It did nothing though.

Please do not spread false information, my 3D is working and you are telling me you do not need the In-Stop. If you do not use the In-stop the 3D menu will show up and all it will do is make the image brighter, it will not make it 3D.

If you want your 3D to work, please follow the instructions. I have a W panel a the software update that was available when I turned the set on.

I turned on all 3D features (3) total including THX. I also went back and added the THX full function, it did no hurt the 3D at least after I had it added and functioning.

I want to help everyone obtain 3D, lets stick with the process that works.

Rare you see someone posting screens of Baraka for visual quality, Kudos!

Nothing wrong with my monitor, and another poster commented that he can see it too. It's very very obvious in that picture with the food.

Please post pics of all of your tool options, instart & ezadj menus, and system1/system2 values.

Oz: Note that the tool option defaults for the LW9500-TA are listed in the service manual that I linked to.

This is all I have accessed and my current settings. Not sure what in-start or ezadj menus are.

Dude - I'm not spreading false info.
When I enabled the 3d options, the 3D menu did come up (as you say) and all it did was turn everything bright (as you say) but when I switched off/on my tv, the TV started processing 3D (as I said) but I did run the in-stop for good measure (as I said). If it does work without running IN-Stop, it may save people grief in re-doing all their settings again. Either way, it dosnt hurt swtching your TV off/on after you make your EZ Adjustments and testing........
Anyhow, apreciate your efforts with the pictures. I'll compare with mine and see what the difference is.

No problem, I just want everyone who wants 3D to have it. I tried without entering In-stop (for those who do not know in-stop is a button on your remote) and could not get the 3D to work. Let me know when you get the 3D working.
I also had to run the InStop command - as originally suggested by nony early in this thread - before the picture would actually be processed. As you said, the picture would brighten, but no image processing would take place. It ran like this for a couple of weeks with multiple power cycles and it wasn't until I ran that command that it actually worked.

Maybe you got lucky??

What's interesting though is that you also have the LW9500 (as I do) but can't get the glasses to sync either. Do you happen to know what your part code is? It's located on the rear of the screen a big LG sticker with the model, product code and serial number.
Mine is 55LW9500-TA.AAUWLH.

There has been lots of talk about W and Y panels and how some do and don't have the 3D hardware, but as nony has mentioned a number of times - ALL panels support it.
I'm just wondering if there is some hardware difference between the LW9500 and LV9500
post #431 of 1747
Can someone put the exact instructions on how turn on 3D on the 55LV9500 with the use of a service remote. I am going to get one

I didnt get lucky - mine does and I have the same as yours. TA.AAUWLH...

I'm at work now so I cant compare my ez options with Videkid, but I did compare with yours - which is same as mine....

Differences are:

Tool 1: Tool "LW95".....................Videkid = "LV95"

Tool 2: Video & Audio ADC "11"......Videkid = "1" on both

Tool 3: Digital Eye = "0"................Videkid="1"
Energy Start = "off" ...................Videkid="on"

Tool 4: Different Digital demod and audio amp

Tool 5: Chanel browser = "1"...........Videkid = "0"
CNET = "0".................................Videkid = "1"

Tool 6 : N/a

I dont see how any of these would prevent glasses from synchronising.

I think we need to compare the In-Start options aswell.

Issue the InStart command to get to its main screen and cursor over to System1 and System2 to access these child screens. See the 1st three screenshots that arkasi55 provided in the link below -

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showp...&postcount=157

Don't forget to block out your serial number before posting.

Also - Please turn off your set and remove the AC cord for about for two minutes, reconnect, and then confirm that everything is working ok.

tia,

You never know what dependencies have been put in the code.

Param changes:

1. Are activated immediately
2. Require a recycle to/from standby or
3. A complete power down or
4. An explicit command to save to NVRAM as a config default.

There are no glaringly obvious hard rules.

I quote from the user manual under 3D Imaging
"Energy Saving is disabled while playing in 3D."

In Tool 3, the Energy Star option has a difference between the LW and the LV. Possibly a dependancy ?|? - I'll may test tonight.....

Sorry, but especially on the first and the last shot the blooming is obvious.

The food comes from Jesus himself appearently and the Fox News-Blue shines into the shoulder of the poor man.

can w panels get 3d? and how? CAN ANYONE PUT IT TOGETHER ON ONE POST AND LET THE REST OF US IN ON 3D.I HAVE A W PANEL AND WILL SEND IT BACK IF ONLY THE Y PANELS HAVE 3D
post #439 of 1747
Not going to get into the blooming debate with trolls, whatever you think is ok with me.

Back to the 3D of these sets. I think I found the issue, its the glasses. The 3D glasses and my set both have a AUS in them. The glasses have a AG-S250/AUS on the side of the box. I believe you must have an AUS in your service code number for them to work.

This does not mean there is no a pair of glasses for you sets, just not the
AG-s250's.

I am playing with Monster universals, I do not think they will work but will keep you posted.

Not having any luck with my glasses. When it syncs it seems to blow up the picture and everything is doubled figures, top and bottom. May even be the Sammy 3D blu ray player?

Do you have a AUS in your service code on the back of the set? Attached is the box my glassed came in, the last three letters match the letters on the back of my TV sets service code.

Have you tried testing it with 2D -> 3D on the local set first?

Then spend 5 times more a purchase the Pioneer/Elite (Sharp). I see no blooming while watching regular content and for the money I paid have no complaints. If you have some positive input I would love to see some more post from you. 480KZ full backlit 1080P 3D set for $1,500 is enough to keep me smiling.

Intresting to see if those Monster universals work.
