New "nag" message

It shows an expiration date of 10/31 but they'll probably remove it before then.

Then just get rid of the "nag" message! I haven't seen it for about a month!

You have at least three options that override the activation/authorization settings and eliminate the "nag" screen:

1. WiRNS3 - after you create the "authcmds" file;
   
   (however, as I understand it, you cannot use DNNA EPG data anymore)
2. WiRNS2 - with the AuthActivate plugin;
   
   and it still works with DNNA EPG data
3. RTV-proxy/RNSproxy -with "trivial-auth.pl";
   
   (but you have to be able to set up a UNIX box to act as a proxy)

Since I'm using OTA digitial channels and want to tune subchannels, I'm using WiRNS to remap the channel numbers so my ReplayTV can access them. This is just one of the really good features WiRNS provides! Getting right of the "nag" is another!

According to Robert's conversation with DNNA today the Nag screen should disappear in a few weeks.

However just looking at recent weeks do you really believe the Left hand knows what the Right hand is doing?

More importantly do either have sway over legal?
