Last thing I want after coming home from work is to have to "work" on my PC as well.

Also can't PC game on 106" from a lovesac supersac with a kb/m... of course for a decent portion of games I could use my 360 controller on pc, but what's the point?

This this THIS. Been working on PCs since 93, IT Manager by trade. The very LAST thing I want to do is come home to any PC drama. I just fire up my Xbox and I'm content it works.

Also, in similar vain its not a accident that while I work on PCs, at home its all Mac.

What "drama" occurred after a year of not using your Xbox?

Was it installing a new, $400 video card to replace your PoS one from just 12 months ago? Or was it the new, 1500W power supply? Or was it the 1,000,000 MS "securtiy" updates? Damn those Xbox consoles and their "drama!"

I really enjoyed the first game. This one looks incredible. I'm getting the deluxe edition the ultimate sold out in like a day or two of it being announced.

http://mp1st.com/2012/07/17/borderlands-2-length-of-campaign-revealed-details-on-the-badass-system/

58 hours of one character in the SP. they ditched the PvP altogether since it was hardly used and beefed up the SP campaign...

Teamxbox.com has a preview up. http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/2650/Borderlands-2/p1/
A few notables.....

For those looking for continuity, be rest assured as Gearbox has included all four of the original vault hunters in this game. While interacting with them throughout the game you will learn about their past and what they have become now - five years after the original game

Missions have also received an upgrade of sorts. They are now dynamic - meaning if you don't pursue your goals quick enough the plot could change which will have implications later on during the mission.

Now the cool thing is that, unlike the level cap of fifty, these Badass Ranks are unlimited...to infinity and beyond. If that's not cool enough for you then here's something else. You can transfer these Badass Ranks & Perks to any new character that you create in Borderlands 2.....Randy Pitchford states that you may see these Badass Perks reach high into the thousands with dedicated players that continue to play the game for years to come.

Borderlands 2 will also include a "stash" where you can store all of your hard-earned loot. But this time it is shared across all of your characters

Yes...I'm geting it. FWIW....I have all four characters Level 61 or higher. Between this and Halo 4 the next year is already spent.

Wheee! Level 999,999 on the first day! rolleyes.gif

(I'm sure some jackass will figure a hack, considering the absurd number of pathetic persons that used modded guns and shields in the first game.)

Another new trailer!

Is anyone playing Borderlands now with a high level that can invite me in for some leveling help? I've got a soldier I'm working on that's only at level 15 atm. I had a high level Mordecai but I seem to have deleted him during my xbox overheating debacle.

How much do you need/want to level up? I've got a Level 69 Siren you could boost off of, but you wouldn't be able to do any damage at all at that steep of a difference between the two characters. In fact, you'd need to hide in a corner just so you wouldn't be taken out with one shot.

Mid 30s or so would be great and you pretty much described my FPS strategy to a tee. biggrin.gif *hides in a corner*

Dallas & I are playing back through it every so often, in the low/mid 50's right now on General Knoxx. Could probably drag you into the Circle of Duty with us when we get to that. Remember powerleveling someone else pretty quickly in there before.

Where would you hide in there? A L15 wouldn't stand a chance in Hell of surviving longer than 5 seconds playing with 2 L50's! eek.gif
