Update WD-65738

I purchased a WD-65738 Mitsubishi DLP and now I have read that there is a firmware update that can upgrade this TV to a 3D ready TV can anyone help me find the download and how to apply it to my TV. Thanks in advance and I hope you can help. Take Care

I just checked the back of my WD65738 and It doesnt have an ethernet or 3d plug in. I bought this TV in 2007 and I was wondering if there is anyway to convert this TV to a 3d TV. I have a USB connection which can accept firmware updates, I just need to know if the 3d Option is even possible or if Im wasting my time. Take Care and I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

Doubt you have the model Tv you say since that model doesn't match up with that year! Yours is a 65731 if it's a 2007. If it was a 65738 it would have the ethernet on back

Re-check your model number. You may have the WD-65837, which requires the adapter.

There is a connection in the back of the WD-65738 model right in the back of the TV called 3D glasses Emitter but it has to be purchased seperately along with the 3D glasses for Mitsubishi.Once you get the glasses it should come with the emitter and the emitter gets plugged into the back where it says 3D emitter glasses emitter connection.I have this exact model so that is how I know.Then you have to go into your menu options and turn the 3D mode on so the glasses communicate with the emitter and the TV will give you different options of 3D you can view at.
