I assume it's still possible this year, as it was in prior years, for a non-CEDIA member to pay an fee for entrance into the exhibition area at the door. I looked at CEDIA's online convention brochure, but I couldn't verify that was possible from what I read.

Hi everyone! I'm thinking about coming there since I'm only 20-30 minutes away, but I was wondering how much (if anything) it costs, or if there are any special requirements. Also...what type of stuff do they show at CEDIA?

You can find an online brochure at CEDIA.org that lists the exhibitors and even has a map of the show floor. About all the big names in home entertainment participate as well as many small companies. I couldn't find the entrance fee in the brochure, but last time I went I think it was about $25. A little pricey, but a good deal since you can look to your heart's content but can buy nothing.

Just remembered to check on the AVS Party this year.

Just Google mapped it. Looks like it could be a bit of a hike. Anybody else taking a cab or other transpo over there? Or just walking from the convention center?
