Michael Emerson fans, we may have something of 'Interest' for you.
On Sunday, CBS will rebroadcast two episodes of 'Person of Interest,' the pilot and the Oct. 27 episode, 'The Fix.' But for fans of the Emerson-Jim Caviezel drama, the real treat will arrive online, a bit later that night.
Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman, two of the show's executive producers, have recorded a special audio track with thoughts and memories on the making the 'Person of Interest' pilot.
The version of the pilot with the commentary track will be available at 1AM ET Monday morning on CBS' site, but we've got an exclusive excerpt from that enhanced pilot below. [CLICK LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY]
If you want to watch (or re-watch) the regular, non-enhanced version of the pilot, which hasn't been online for several weeks, it will be reposted at
CBS.com/PersonOfInterest Monday, along with a regular version of 'The Fix.' All three hours (both versions of the pilot as well as 'The Fix') will be online at 1AM Monday.
The next new episode of the show, which follows Emerson and Caviezel's characters, Finch and Reese, as they investigate people who may be involved in nefarious activities, will air Dec. 8. In that hour, the ongoing story about Det. Carter, a New York detective who is investigating the pair, takes a big step forward.
As fans know, the premise of 'Person of Interest' is that Finch and Reese use a special computer program to find targets for their investigations. In 'Get Carter,' guess whose name pops out of the machine? That of Det. Carter (Taraji P. Henson).
Another bonus: Mark Margolis ('Breaking Bad's' Tio Hector Salamanca) guests in that outing. Ben Linus and Tio Hector in one hour of television? Now you have our 'Interest.'
