'Person Of Interest' on CBS HD - Page 14

Annie Parisse played Stanton, Reese's CIA handler in that one flashback from early in Reese's CIA career. She was the one that was interrogating those two guys at that table and then just blew them away in cold blood.

I think she may be an inspired guess since she was Reese's partner that he supposedly killed and old ghosts seem to have a way of seeking revenge in this show.

Only the second principal character to be murdered in the series history (first was Det. Max Greevey in the first episode of the second season - the actor portraying him decided not to return so they used a stand-in for him).

It would've been at least the 2nd to last season McCoy was executive ADA. Alana De La Garza was on the show for McCoy at least 1 year with McCoy before the Mike Cutter character was introduced.

refresh my memory- what was Morgan's story from her episode ?

I don't get how Finch is suppose to be the super computer dude, and still get hacked into... kinda made me say "come on" ... at that point, no? Shouldn't it be harder to do to the guy who developed that super spy computer.

She was the cleaner/eraser chick, who almost got killed for knowing too much. Glad they brought her back. They should build up a relationship between her and Resse, then have her killed off and let Resse go all Jack Bauer on everyone

To me, the whole point was someone is better than Finch .. and that was pretty evident in the plot / he now has a nemisis .. no system is impossible to crack ..

agreed

No system is above being able to resist attack , how a system gets better is evolving from an attack .

Honey-pot. If you go willingly into a site, you are open to attack.

WIKI .. In computer terminology, a honeypot is a trap set to detect, deflect, or in some manner counteract attempts at unauthorized use of information systems. Generally it consists of a computer, data, or a network site that appears to be part of a network, but is actually isolated and monitored, and which seems to contain information or a resource of value to attackers.

As I mentioned earlier, this is one of the reasons I really like the show .. the tech is not spot on, but very close ..

ahhh, cool...

This show is getting so good week to week.

This show has got to be great now.

The addition of evil hackers, and government chasing them has made things fun.

Finch I don't trust him either.

Think of "Bait Car", but for hackers instead of Car Thieves.

OOO!! The tension between Reese and Harold is getting good! Really thought Frick and Frack detectives were about to find out they work for the same guy! But alas, that was not to be!

The kid played a great part last night.. I was surprised that the gang leader didn't turn in the crooked cop from the rooftop meeting. Good episode, I agree, getting better every week. Line of the night: "Who are you talking to ? ..Tech support"

So, we find out that secretive Finch is really Indian!

I thought the same thing. Maybe saving for a future episode.

So I guess the lady living off the net is not the hacker that brought down Finch's system?

WOW>this is contagious stuff. It reminds me of Prison Break and 24 except POI writing, directing and acting are way superior IMHO.

There's no doubt that Jonathan Nolan is an excellent writer. The Dark Knight, The Prestige and Memento are all great movies. If any of you are enjoying this and have not seen Memento, please do yourself a favor and watch that this weekend.

He's the only reason I hopped on this show from the start and I'm very glad I did.

I really dug tonight's episode. I know I should have seen the CIA guy a mile away, but I missed it.

I felt sorry for, and was slightly worried about Fusco. Reese has him in a good spot to help with their cases now. Is his old handler the woman that has been hacking Harold?

Felt bad for Fusco too. Not sure what roles Fusco and Carter are to be except flunkies for Reese and Finch at this point. Fusco looks like he is REALLY screwed now. It could also be the bigger storyline is Reese and Finch taking down HR and they need Fusco back there telling them what is going on. Reese said as much to Fusco when he broke the phone.

We don't know for sure about the handler. The storyline has had it Reese killed her, but that has come from others, never from Reese. So it is possible that she was not killed or survived an attack and that is why Reese is thinking of her. He may be thinking that she is hacking them.

Stay tuned as they say.

Yeah seems the CIA guy is the one giving out all the info on what Reese did in the old days @ the CIA , Soo can't say I believe anything outta his pie hole.
Poor Fusco! Just when he was doing good in the world!

This show has improved so much, and they are getting more and more in trouble operating alone. Makes it so much fun to watch.

This seems to be turning into a 'Fringe/X Files' series. I kinda got lost over the past couple months.
The nice looking CIA (?) chick, exactly who is/was she? That CIA guy who just got kidnapped, what's the deal with him?

They couldn't just keep doing the number thing all by itself. Yeah, the numbers are at the heart of the show, but you run out of interesting subjects. So they have broadened it into Reese's past with the CIA and how he can never completely get away from it, which is what he had been trying to do when the show started, Carter interrogated him in the pilot when he was dressed as a homeless person. He is now on more radars because of the good work he is doing. The exchange between Fusco, the HR informant, and Reese about you never get your hands clean extends to Reese as well. His hands are very dirty and he is trying to get them clean by helping those who can't help themselves but it ain't easy. Then there is Finch. Is his hands dirty? Did he have anything to do with "The Founder" of the machine's death? Ah, the questions. The questions.

That is the "person of interest" (pun intended) we are not sure if is alive or dead. The CIA guy keeps saying Reese killed her, but Reese is thinking of her in these flash backs when he first joined the CIA. Some think she may be the hacker from several episodes back that crashed Finch's computer systems at the abandoned library. At this point, there is not enough back story out yet to determine what happened to her. At this point in the storyline, I would hazard a guess that the hacker IS her. She certainly exhibits the smarts to do something like that in the flashbacks. But then there is Eliza still out there. He too could be mixed up in this somehow.

It would seem he had gone rogue and is considered to be in the same class as Reese as far as the CIA is concerned. I think the CIA "bagged and tagged" him, so to speak. I think they killed him for going outside of "the company" to do the drug deal and then it went down way too messy.

Lots of loose ends here. Your guess is as good as anyone else.
Great summary, I sort of thought alot of this was his past.
I love the chemistry between the three main characters.
Maybe I missed it, but are the letters "HR" significant of anything? I get that they/he are a rogue criminal group within the NYPD, but do the letters signify a particular individual, or department? Is it that bad cop that Fusco met up with and who's helping coverup the undercover boss who was killed? Did he have a name?
