Elias, down. But not out.

This was a good one. Glad to see Johnny Sac again!

A few soprano's alums tonight... loved it!

Excellent episode. When I thought they had a couple of screw ups in the plot, they came in and explained how some of the situations happened.

4 of the 5 "Dons" we're on the Soprano's, including "Johnny Sac" we promptly began smoking in his second scene and "Father Antintola", who needed to eat, and chase Carmela... Good episode, Reese gets shot on the vest and barely flinches, tough guy....

I thought last night's episode was good. I kind of saw Carter's kid getting nabbed coming. Also, I saw the car bombings coming. Still I liked it.

I too noticed the presence of the actors who played Johnny Sac and Father Phil on The Sopranos. Person of Interest continues to be my guilty pleasure. It doesn't have an intelligent bone in its body but it is so well acted and consistently exciting, I love it anyway.

My sentiments exactly - POI often gets about as silly as a TV drama ever has, but I like Emerson. Caviezel's Batman w/o the cape act has really grown on me.

'Scandal' starts modest for ABC, 'Person of Interest' beats 'Grey's'
By James Hibberd, EW.com's 'Inside TV' Blog - Apr. 6, 2012

Shonda Rhimes' latest ABC drama Scandal got off to a modest start in the ratings Thursday night, while CBS' Person of Interest beat ABC's Grey's Anatomy for the first time and NBC's Community hit an all-time low.

The ABC political soap Scandal launched with 7.4 million viewers and a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49, dropping 25 percent from its Grey's Anatomy lead-in (8.1 million, 2.8) and was slightly under par for what Private Practice usually delivers in the 10 p.m. spot. The critical consensus on Scandal is that the show gets better as it goes on, so hopefully this number will build. Scandal is notable for being, by a couple reports' estimation, the first major broadcast drama series to star a black woman in about 30 years. Opening ABC's night, Missing (7.2 million, 1.4) was down 7 percent.

Overall, Thursday was a rough night for broadcast, with TV usage down about 6 percent from last week from 8 to 10 p.m. Fox won the night with American Idol (13.8 million, 3.8) down 10 percent and Touch (7.4 million, 2.3) falling 15 percent.

CBS had Big Bang Theory (13 million, 4.2), down 11 percent to a season low, but it still ranked as the night's top-rated show. Rules of Engagement (8.8 million, 2.7) was steady. Person of Interest (13.5 million, 2.9) was off 12 percent (but, again, had some bragging rights) and The Mentalist (12.5 million, 2.4) fell 11 percent.

NBC aired Community (3.1 million, 1.3), down 24 percent to a series low (guess those feud headlines aren't helping the show's popularity?). 30 Rock (2.8 million, 1.2) was down 20 to also hit a series low, and Up All Night (2.6 million, 1.1) dipped too. At 10 p.m., few stayed up for Awake (2.5 million, 0.9), down 10 percent.

Four of the five family heads are now dead. What's to stop him from taking over, even with him behind bars? The support system for running organized crime is in place, even if HR is no longer part of it.

We haven't seen the last of Elias. The fact that he was on a cell phone inside the prison proves it.

Tip: Anytime you see someone walking away from a car, but you can still see the car in the background, it is about to explode.....

Yes, the guard shows that not all of law enforcement stopped supporting him.

He will be back, guaranteed.

Looks like there are four episodes left in the season. Three have been named:

"Matsya Nyaya" - April 26
"Many Happy Returns" - May 3
"No Good Deed" - May 10
unannounced episode - May 17

..or the inverse...

Someone says "see you later" and walks to their car while the other person watches. Engine cranks and "kaboom"...

**Note to self: never let anyone watch you start your care, especially if it's your wife, girlfriend, co-worker or best friend. Tell them to go the hell back inside, close the curtains and put on headphones...then use the remote starter...

Johnny Sac has put on a few, no?

I was thinking the same thing. This might portend a split in HR.

I enjoy the show. Logical disconnects often have me wondering. Quite frankly, when Elias and his two accomplicies broke through the door I believe the logical process would have been to just open up on them. Three guys having torched through the door and you don't blow them away? At least shoot the armed ones and cap Elias in the leg. Just standing straight up as they did should not have ended as it did, IMO.
I think Elias being wounded and escaping from a hospital would be easier to handle than how he gets his free Get Out of Jail card. Maybe the writers will put a good twist on this.
I liked the Finch confrontation of the HR cop. I don't think they can turn him, but it was a nice 'wake up' for the cop. Also, I really expected both Fusco and Carter to put the pieces together and realize they have a common 'friend'. This should have been obvious when Carter's son got rescued by an un-named party. Probably by season's end.
I hate to nitpik a decent show, but also don't want the writers to get lazy with success.

Seems like he took possession of Ginny's secret candy stash and went to town on it....

the show requires complete suspension of critical thinking but then it's network Tv

I tuned in just because I saw Michael Kelly is on the show (loved Generation Kill)

I agree that Unforgettable has been disappointing. I like Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh a lot but their show has been only mediocre, if that. In stark contrast, I have really been enjoying Person of Interest. Its combination of a powerful, secret computer program, evil government conspiracy, criminal mastermind, and crooked cops have made it a lot of fun.

Yeah I agree "Unforgettable" sucks due lack luster plots , stale writing , I think Poppy over works the sexually thing up way to much . She does not need to force that issue .. She's Hot already But it seems now corny IMO
. Yeah POI is night & day difference ,i find myself only watching "Unforgettable" only when I'm bored & POI as soon as the recording is complete I'm watching POI intently

I've finally made peace with the Batman voice, as this show continues to grow on me with its ever widening developments to keep it interesting - and more than just a 'save of the week' rinse and repeat. You have to let go a bit with the reality of certain elements, as in the old "24" days when Jack Bauer managed to get across all of NYC traffic in about 10 minutes to appear just in the nick of time. Allowing for that, the stories are interesting enough and this latest with the current 'number' being both victim and perp was clever.

I thought last night's episode was excellent, especially the back story. Things with the CIA are about the pick up.
