Great episode. The Fusco fill-ins were hilarious, Finch in the swat gear was great. When the FBI agent caught up to Carter and Reese, like another poster said, it was inevitable that he was going to die. Felt kind of like a cheap way out but just WHO did it was a fun twist. Only way it would have all been better is if Zoe were back. Wish she were a regular cast member. I like the case of the week interjected with some of these backstory episodes. Keeps it from all being too formulaic.

Now, someone help me out with something. I remember the previous episode when Reese and his old partner were ordered to kill each other, but I don't think we knew the woman who gave them their orders (about getting the suitcase) at that point. Is she not the same woman who cornered Finch about the machine before Root killed her and captured Finch? I'm having a hard time recalling how she fit back into to the present story.

I was at a charity function a few weeks ago and Kevin Chapman (Fusco) was one of the celebrity attendees. A few of the guys from Sons of Anarchy were there. Dee Snider from Twisted Sister. Some of the Housewives of NJ and a few assorted other folks. I couldn't WAIT to go up to Kevin Chapman and get a picture. Shake his hand. Tell him I'm a big fan. Thought he was fantastic in Brotherhood on Showtime as well.

At this point, they probably stay until they break, then out they come. It's likely cheaper to leave a working phone in place than remove it if they don't have to.

Honestly, the thing that always made me laugh in the 70's and 80's were all the times you saw someone rip a page out of the phone book at a phone booth. I can't say I ever came across more than one pay phone that actually had a phone book available.

I wonder if there has ever been a scene in a movie or TV show where the guy goes to look up a number in one of those books, but finds the page has been ripped out....that actually would have been a good gag in T2: the T1000 goes to look up the name "Conner", only to find the page was previously torn out by the original Terminator from part 1.
