I can't say regarding the last episode, but I can totally picture a future one involving a conversation from this page:

Finch get's his chance to toss someone through a window - more specifically, his glass board when he comes in to find someone in the progress of breaking into the place.
At any rate, regarding the board, I just assumed it was just a piece of glass that was in there from the remodelling project that appears to be keeping everyone else out of the building (which may be merely a disguise). Despite it being cracked, it saved them from moving a big board of some type in there and attracting attention. It probably would have been plywood, but glass makes it easier to get a POV shot of them in front of the board while they're looking at it.
I continue to enjoy the humor that they thread through almost all episodes.
I thought having Finch as the concierge giving out directions and making dinner reservations in between his monitoring of the situation was hilarious.
That's clear what sets this show apart from others for me.
Excellent observation. I loved Finch's directions scenes as well. The wry humor and the ability of the show to poke fun at itself and the characters without degenerating into farce is very intelligently done.
Great episode... Paige is back for "John", Carter takes a lie detector test, Kevin Chapman beats up 2 guys, Mia Maestro makes a guest spot, as does Amy Acker. Next week we get Sarah Shahi, I think ...Nice
Hit man will be back, tough guy... Gonna re-watch it...
I watched this week's Person of Interest tonight and, as usual, loved it. It was fun to see Amy Acker's Root back, working for the evil bureaucrat who is trying to find out who Reese works for. I think the bureaucrat is in over his head.
Wow Amy Acker at it again... weird that she works for the guy after Finch and the guy doesn't know who she is..
Obviously she wormed her way into this job so she can get closer to the machine, gather intel and the like. Doesn't have anything directly to do with Finch.

If I didn't know better I'd say this had spinoff written all over it. Interesting to see where they go with this plot point. Personally I think it would have been interesting to see or alternate between the dirty covert ops and Mr. Finch ops.
When they introduced the premise before the show started I thought it might be a decent procedural, but in just a couple of seasons it's developed into so much more. They have created such a rich tapestry that they can pull from so many sources for stories. The show is very onion or Russian Doll like, you remove one layer and there is so much more below it. Well done writers and producers.
Ok, so we have Sarah Shahi, wearing all black, packing serious heat and kicking major butt, and dying and returning from the dead. Did I miss anything?
Wow, that was a great episode, it was like Crank, the female version, talk about soaked with adrenaline! I do hope we see much more of this character.
Was watching the show ..man awesome show... At the end of last night episode, when Shaw got of of the ambulance. Harold gave her his number . Being bored I called it , real working number. And the message on there really sounds like Harold.
I thought this new character was awesome, however I found Shahi lacking, she's simply not believable or very good as a badass, with Paige Turco and Amy Acker, you feel that no one else could play their roles, while watching Sarah I definitely felt they could have gotten someone better.
Wow. Fantastic episode. They really brought a lot of the mythology together and it explained quite a bit without actually telling you. I understand better what is going on with the greater "conspiracy" then ever before. Honestly I thought Sarah was great in the role and I really hope she's back at some point.
Finch really acted like he wanted Shaw to join the team. I knew something was up when the open credits were interrupted. To show the other side of the POI when you don't know John is there to help is a unique story line in itself ("Please do me a favor and don't shot me again.") and to see that the government calls the Machine "CONTROL" and how the government uses the Machine and it too only gets SSNs, no names! The fact that ROOT and GMen plot have merged and Finch/Reese appear to not know is an interesting twist. I bet we will see Shaw again but is she a White Hat or Black Hat like Reese's old CIA partner turned Black Hat? She definitely is no friend of ROOT! I counted John in 3 scenes with almost no camera time until the very end and Finch in two with short camera time and Carter and Fusco as cameo's. All the main players got the week off while the support characters and guests worked their butts off!
Anyone seeing this show for the first time was totally lost with this episode. Even though it followed the formula and Shaw did the Reese role, I can see if you don't know the back story on all this, the episode was a disaster. You were totally lost and had no idea what this show is all about. For us fans, I think it could very well be one of the finest episodes because it was so out of the box opening up an even juicer plot line that could be explored at some time in the future.
