How are your new surrounds compared to the jbl 8340s? Would you say they are as-loud but more clear or vice versa?

I am still testing them but they handled Tron with ease. They remind me of the JBL's actually. I just had 3 eD cinema 12's as my surrounds and the new ones sound better as surrounds but the wedges are elevated so it really is not fair. The cinema 12's were much too big for surrounds in my room.

I recognize Bill's DRs but what are the woofs that the DRs are sitting on? Are those DIY?

Thanks. Since I have one DR left which I was going to sell I might buy another DR and sub and put them in the corners angled in for width channels since my AVR can do either width or heights. My short ceilings rule out heights anyways. I don't know how it would sound with widths though as it might take away from the mains a bit but since the speakers will be exact it can't hurt, right?

I had a few questions:

Hows the recovery going on your knees?

How tall is your ceiling?

This might be the first time I am seeing a side view of the CHT Sub. Is yours a different design or with a different driver? I don't know why I always thought the drivers were flush/recessed mounted on those subs. Not a big deal, just curious as they seem to be a great value especially if one has the room for them.

One more thing...I know a 139inch screen is huge but the pic above of that screen is freggin jaw dropping!

Going well as I am way ahead of schedule but still too slow for me.

How tall is your ceiling?
My ceiling is 80 inches tall.

Thanks, the screen is huge and it might not look like it but the front speakers are about 8 feet apart. That screen is about 96 inches wide.

I think they sound great with just using MCCAC but I will measure them and see what kind of response I have.
