That's an OPINION and not a fact. Unless you have some evidence of the streaming bitrate being 320 kbps you shouldn't claim that it is.

As I stated above, I have the streaming service via a relative that has ST on directv. I gave him 50 bucks and he added it.

Hope neither of you is in Tennessee, what you are doing is punishable by 2 years in prision. Just giving you heads up.

SkyeHill,

I'm starting to think your a troll because you claimed in the Redzone thread that you have the Redzone channel on from Directv(via satellite) and it is looking great.

Now here in this thread you claim a relative has ST and you borrowed their account info to have ST on PS3...

Which is it, do you Directv ST per Satellite or do you have it via PS3.Where did you actually watch the Redzone from Sat. feed or PS3 Stream?

Their some BS in there somewhere...lol

You don't read very well. Check out the other thread I created for people to let other Directv users know what deals they got this year. I got Redzone for free and about 30 off my bill a month for a year to stay at Directv. It's easy to do. Just call and tell them you're leaving because you want a carrier that will give you Redzone without needing to spend 340 bucks for ST.

I watched the Raider - Bills game and the video quality was more then acceptable on my 50" plasma. I was very happy with it this week. Its not FIOS HD quality but very watchable. I have no idea how you can call this a 'low quality you tube video'.

Very easily...it looked like a 'low quality you tube video'

I have no idea how you can think that b/c you had a good video, everyone else must have had the same thing.

Well no, I also had a terrible picture most of my game and it did look like a low-res youtube clip.

I have FiOS 25/25 and the internet was just fine.

Judging by comments on numerous forums, many others had the same issue.

So did anybody see any articles in the media about the performance of Sunday Ticket To Go after the week 2 games? Seems to be pretty quiet although I think we would all agree it could be a little better. It would be a shame if the set the bar so low week 1 that we would settle for passable video and tinny audio quality the rest of the season, especially at the same price satellite customers pay for 1080i with Dolby sound.

At the very least, the NFL/DirecTV needs to contact MLB Advanced Media and take a page from them on how they run mlb.tv. I would say more often than not, the picture quality is pretty good. Also while the audio from mlb.tv isn't 5.1, its definitely stereo that isn't tinny.

I started a feedback thread on D* tech forum hoping that at least someone on their staff reads it (highly unlikely ,but one can wish) and reports it to the Dev team....

For the price they are charging for this service it needs to be "Top of The Line" even better than MLBTV ,not some mickey mouse service.

It's pretty typical of the NFL. They got your money, and then they couldn't care less. People bitched all last season about the streaming quality and the NFL didn't intervene at all. It's sad that a sport many of us love so much appears to care so little about the people that finance it.

I don't understand why the To-Go offering can't match that of NFL.com's preseason offerings (which are live broadcasts) from a video standpoint, which is 720p (at max, I believe).

Well,Week 3 of service...

Can we expect better feeds this time with good HD and better audio?

Does Directv & Sony have their S**T together finally?

I would love for the NFL to buy back their mobile/streaming rights and start their own streaming service here in the States with NFL Game Pass.

The other sports leagues have their own streaming services and they put more attention and focus to their product.

Heck,MLBTV archives every game and you can watch at anytime.Sunday Ticket won't even let you watch game highlights past sunday...

That's the NFL. They want complete control of their footage after it's been aired. It's pathetic. If last year's streaming package is any indicator, don't expect the quality to improve. They've got their money now and after September 20th, Sony will no longer issue full refunds.

If the NFL Network feed they're showing pre-game is any indicator, this week will be every bit as bad as last week. Horrible audio and abysmal video on the pre-game.

It has very little to do with the NFL. Directv is the one providing the service. The problem is the NFL should be the one providing this service. Directv has no incentive for the service to work well.

I'm sure that DirecTV pushes the NFL for exclusivity in all distribution, including streaming, in exchange for the billions in guaranteed payments. The last thing DirecTV needs is for the NFL to offer 720p streaming for a fraction of the cost of Sunday Ticket and lose a huge chunk of their more tech savvy customers.

The NFL controls EVERYTHING in regards to the NFL. If they told Directv to fix this garbage, they'd fix it in a heartbeat. The NFL, by all indications, doesn't give a crap that the streaming services are bad. Either way they're getting their money.

Been watching the Pats all my life and this is one of our absolute worst defenses we've ever fielded. Good win for you guys. I wish it looked better on the PS3. Any time a pass is made, the ball essentially disappears because the framerate is so horrid.

Well if I had paid 340 bucks for this mess, I would have insisted they give me a full refund a week ago as many others apparently forced them to do.

Held up pretty good for me, the app update must of fixed some of the bugs and stability issues.....The HD looked rather good, just as good as MLBTV...The audio still felt a bit thin though.

Overall I had a great experiance with it today....except my Darn Bills could not beat the Bungles...
Since I don't have Sunday Ticket I didn't get to see my Cowboys blow a 24 point lead and suffer their worst collapse in history.

But its money well saved.
It's all about money with you isn't it Jedi?

If you subscribe to Sunday ticket on PS3...can you access it through 2 PS3's in the same house??? It would solve a lot of arguments about what game to watch in my house..is that possible??

No,

http://us.playstation.com/psn/nfl/faq/

Directv only lets you sign in one device(PS3) at a time, this is where mlbtv shines...

MLBTV lets you sign in on about 6 different devices at the same time under the same isp of course...

I have two PS3 and my nephew is a Colts fan and he buggs me all the time to come over to see the Colts game but I have to tell I can only have one PS3on with NFL ST because my Buffalo Bills take high priority...

Quality was as terrible yesterday as it had been all season. So on a whim I called Directv instead of Sony to ask why it's so awful and the woman that answered asked why I was watching it via PS3 instead of my Directv account (I just have Redzone on Directv). I told her it was because with PS3 you can just buy a month at a time (didnt want to lie and admit I was just using my dad's streaming account). She put me on hold and came back to inform me that since I'd been with Directv so long that she was adding full NFL Sunday Ticket to my account for no charge and no contract. Huge win for me, and a huge win for you guys since you won't have me telling you how god-awful this service is on PS3.

Thanks! That's a bummer...
