Tannoy upgrade question

Hi,

I was wondering what the following proposed upgrade did for sound quality.
I want better looking speakers (Tannoy's are not ugly but I want smaller speakers) but not compromise on sound quality

Current: front Tannoy R2, rear Tannoy r1, no sub
proposed: Paradigm Millenia One + sub or Monitor Audio Apex
other details:
speakers driven by a Marantz SR6000 and my room is about 5mx10m (15ftx30ft)
