Any side vented DIY horn projects ??

Looking to build something into the wall. I have about 20" in depth, 30" wide and up to 5 ft in height to mess with.

LilMike's F-20 can be modified to have the mouth be on the side, just a simple cutting difference when ripping the panels. Great box as well

I just remeasures and looks like I will only have about 48" max. lilmike's f20 will not be possible.

I don't know of anything off the top of my head that works in those dimensions.

A THT can be made 36x36x24.5" for the standard size for 15" subwoofer. Or 36x36x18 for the 12" subwoofer.

this one is 20.125" deep, so even though it is front firing it works in your depth.

it is 30" tall, so on its side, it will fit in your width.

it is 7.25" wide, so on its side, you can stack up to six of them.

i think there are flat pack kits, if you don't want to cut wood.

edit: i just checked and flat packed kits are available for $72.

Looks like I may have lots of options. I'm now even thinking I may pull this project out of the wall all together and put it on it's side as a table for a centre channel.

The problem is this.......... this more and more I keep reading, the more options get presented and less and less building seems to be happening.
