I have been thinking a lot about how to better operate the lighting in the house. There are approximately 70 lighting loads in the house. In the kitchen alone there are 6 or 7 different switches for different groups of lights. Right now I tried to maintain individual level control and I don't think that makes sense. Once I get to the final programming, I need to wrap my head around creating different scenes.
Case and point.... Controller at the top of the stairs. Lighting in area: loft desk area, back hallway open to top of stairs, side hallway open to stairs, stair sconce, chandeliers. More likely than not, you would just have all of them operate on and off together. So I will need to order buttons with the names of the scenes.
This is the current situation.
