What are "correct" settings?
Not sure why any settings in the nVidia control panel are relevant? Can you explain?
What are the "proper" settings?
I have disabled internal filters now and downloaded ac3 filter. I have sound now but only in stereo...
I can only choose the correct settings for 5.1 when configuring the speakers. This I have done.
I am not sure which to choose as default audio device (I have two options 1)S/PDIF Pass-through device or 2)Optical audio (s/pdif), one looks like it might be the sound card and the other the AVR, I am not sure-see screenshot.
I have xonar dg sound card, not on board, it it running the latest unified drivers.
Nothing shows up in nvidia control panel....
I checked those 2 boxes but nothing happened.
My avr is yamaha v365.
Looks like the problems is the setup at windows end. When i try ttest signals on windows sound menu, avr does not play anything.
