Should I uninstall first and then re-install, or just install over the existing configuration? Do I have to re-set settings in MPC-HC, MadVR, and LAV or will my current configuration carry over?
you don`t have to do anything in Mpc-hc settings!
Just download and register the new filters.
You`d better download the .zip folders
and extract them where the old filters are located
and just install the new lav filters & madVr .bat files.

I am using MPC-HC with DXVA and everything is good in picture quality and detail and movies play smooth and sharp .
But when i used MPC-HC + Madvr i got dark picture comparing with old setup
Madvr detect my AV but i doesn't shows my ati graphic card or my plasma display.
In Catalyst setting i can't set my pixel format because it connected to my AV.
Could you let me know what is best setting to get better quality picture with Madvr ?
Sorry for my bad English writing .
when playing a movie ,double click madvr tray icon
go to edit madvr properties...
devices--> --> "display expects the following rgb output levels" & switch from [pc levels] to [tv levels] and vice versa.
you can also do the trick in your tv menu.
Select HDMI input
Press Home Menu
Enter HDMI Input
Select PC from the Signal Type submenu
i hope that your avr does not touch the video.
