This is what is written on the (mine) actual extended Elite warranty:
it states the certificate number
it states the contract retail price
it states the model number...PRO70X5FD
it states the serial number
it states the EFFECTIVE DATE: 06/03/2014
it states the EXPIRATION DATE: 06/02/2016
item 15. TRANSFERABILITY.
You may transfer this Agreement to any person by sending written notice to: Service Net, P.O. Box1411, Jeffersonville, IN 471341-1411
Question I'll ask you htwaits; for others here may also have an interest; did you buy a " Certificate of Coverage" aka "Service Contract from Elite" both titles written on the form:
C/O Service Net Retail Solutions, LLC
650 Missouri Avenue
Jeffersonville, IN 47130
My "Certificate Of Coverage" is very clear about...what I think it means. What does yours say?
If you bought the "Service Contract from Elite", what recent and similar experience did you have?
Elite provides a 2 year warranty to the original owner and it is not transferable.
First owner of the Elite gets 2 yrs. If he buys the extended 2yr warranty from Elite it starts at the end of the original 2 yr warranty (the effective date and expiration date is written in the extended contract). If the owner sells the tv after one year, the second owner is without warranty for one year till the extended warranty takes over at the original 2 yr anniversary.
I hope this clears up any further doubt you have htwaits.
Thanks for your concern.
