I recently bought the Sharp LC40LE830U and I am very pleased with the picture. It's a huge step up from my old Vizio vx32l.
The thing is that sound is very unreliable. Some sounds end up being extremely loud and others seem very low. I even bought a sound bar to try to fix the problem, but it still seems to persist.
The Vizio vx32l had really good sound and I never experienced fluctuations in sound.
Could there be a problem or is it just the nature of this tv? I am getting an optical cable to see if that will change with the sound bar, but at the moment I am not very optimistic.
