If you read any reviews for Gravity, many are saying go to the biggest screen you can in 3D and comparing to Avatar. Yes its a convert, I've only seen it in 3D, but I don't care to see it in 2D. A huge home screen, 3D, and D-BOX, will be the way to watch this in the home.
Not directed at you, but
Surprisingly, roughly 80 percent of “Gravity” ticket sales came from 3D screenings. For comparison, “Avatar,” which also highly touted its 3D experience, saw only 72 percent of its sales come from 3D screenings.
So there on the 3D bashing
We who like big screens, 4K, 8K, etc better hope 3D doesn't die -- its what will help drive availability of this equipment. Plus they need a reason to sell glasses-free 3D in a few years...

Its noticeable sometimes. My calibrator turned it off and I haven't decided to turn it back on.Edited by turls - 10/7/13 at 7:21am
