Though, I would guess that whoever is providing them the fans that they use would know the CFM spec on the intake / exhaust fan.
I installed my pj in a closet that has a common wall with the living room.
Here you can see the lens cover and a small bit of the pj through the hole I cut in the living room wall.
All of the air intakes are around the lens and along part of the front bottom of the pj so this size hole allows for pleanty of air to get into the pj air intakes.
Be aware that a hole this size is not large enough for the remote control sensor to work except from one side of the room and renders the 3D Sync Transmitter useless.
In the closet wall I cut a hole behind the pj air outlets which did a good job of letting hot air out of the closet but the temperature inside the closet was still too warm to ensure a cool operating environment.
To increase the air flow out of the closet I got two fans and a thermostat from http://www.hometheatercooling.com/index.html
and set them at either end of the vent out of the closet.
Here all the way to the right you can see the thermostat which I have set for 80 degrees so the ambient temperature in the closet never gets above that.
It was a tight squeeze getting the pj to fit in the closet as you can see here but with the vent allowing the pj exhaust fans an exit path from the closet and the two fans moving an additional 100 cubic feet a minute of hot air out of the closet all is well.
The fan vendor's website covers a number of installation scenarios so if your enclosure is not covered they offer additional assistance over the phone. http://www.hometheatercooling.com/installation.html#brand
