New Girl on FOX HD - Page 6

I agree that the last few episodes have been funnier. The cast is being developed and Zooey is acting (somewhat) less like an annoying child in a cute woman's body.

I really liked the flashback scenes from this weeks episode of Nick finding $5 and Jess being offered candy from a stranger...lol

Whitney has some problems but it is not a bad show. There is usually several high spots. There are some bad things including some of the supporting cast, the laugh track and the timing but that show may grow into something. As I've said before, to me it is an updated version of I Love Lucy.

I think its moved to Wednesday. I just dvr everything because I refuse to watch commercials and I generally don't have time to watch anything live.

Schmidt writes a croissant blog.

I watched the first and last couple episodes of Whitney, and I just never found it appealing. Like with her stand-up routine, I find Whitney's acting style to be a bit obnoxious. I think it mostly has to do with her voice; it's grating to my ears. Most of the other actors on the show simply can't act.

Nick catching Jess trying to hook up with Schmidt was really funny. I thought Jess's hunt for a one night stand was cute.

Schmidt started out as my least favorite character, and now he's my favorite. I've had enough of the storyline involving Nick and the lawyer though. She's so boring. I loved the entire scene between Jess and Cece where Jess was preparing to go out and get some for 'lil Jess'. Spraying perfume on lil Jess and her butt because "I don't know who's going to be smelling what tonight." was hilarious.

Another good episode this week. Schmidt is also becoming one of my favorite characters. Can't believe he finally hooked up with CeCe!

Jess's huge box of condoms was hilarious and would intimidate any man

Also enjoyed Clark Duke's cameo.

We've been watching this show all along and unlike a lot of the shows she chooses, it's NOT stupid.

Maybe, but she's so hot. See all of Lizzy Caplan and then some in the first season of True Blood. Heat trumps monotony quotient, at least in sitcoms.

Funniest New Girl in a while; maybe ever.

"There are youths..."

"YOUTHS?''

"Yeah, Youths??? What are you, Officer Krupke?"

Don't you mean Ryan Kwanton from True Blood?

Until Big Bang Theory decides to become funny again, this has become my favourite comedy on broadcast. Love the way Zooey is playing her character now, a lot funnier this way.

Don't watch True Blood, so I didn't recognize him. Clark Duke played Lizzy Caplan's assistant. You may remember him from Hot Tub Time Machine and Kick-Ass.

I have a theory. If you take all of Arnie Grape's lines from his one movie and lay that over ALL of Zooey's lines in any of her movies it'd be an epic advancement and probably get her an Oscar.

This show would be so much better if they cut Winston and Nick. Make the show about Schmidt(About Schmidt?), Jess, and Cece's boobs. I love the show, but most of the time Nick is just too damn whiney and Winston is such a bore in every storyline they use him in. The actor is too low-key. I really wish Damon Wayons Jr. was able to do both shows. His delivery of "WHO CARES?!" in the pilot was much better than anything Winton's done this season.

I like Winston. And I liked Nick at the beginning. But now I just want to punch him in the face!

Yeah, Nick could use a couple punches in the face. The only time I've liked him recently was when he gave his opinions on not washing towels.

LOL. That was funny.

On an unrelated note, I have this theory that all "Nicks" are idiots. Either in movies or in real life. Take notice of my screen name . . .

Having a variety in characters is a good thing. I like Schmidt and Jess, but if the whole show was about them, it would all fall apart.

I was kidding. I don't actually want a show about just them. That would be hard to watch. But I definitely am enjoying Schmidt a lot more now. The comment he made when Jess told him he smelled nice was pure Schmidt.

Ok, after initially HATING this show, I have to admit that the Valentine's Day episode was one of the all time great holiday themed sitcom episodes. Maybe second only to the Mad About You Thanksgiving episode.

Two words: Junk Mail.

Schmidt is awesome.

Also loved when he asked CeCe if she wanted to "Schmidt and spin"
I thought Winston had the best line about speaking on behalf of the human race we don't want this girl making robots.

Was catching up on my DVR. Funny episode!

Yeah, that was hilarious! Definitely his best episode...Brown Lightning strikes again!

CeCe looked amazing as usual...was she really topless in that opening scene? It really looked like she was putting on her bra there

No doubt. I'd watch a spinoff just about Cece's boobs. No dialog or script necessary.

On another note, I really like scenes with the principal at Jess' school. She is all kinds of funny. Sort of like "Bad Teacher," but she's Bad Principal.

I thought last night was a nice change of pace. The callback to the second or third episode was hysterical
