I have always been a snob when it came to sound bars. I have a dedicated room that is capable of playing clean reference levels. I stopped using TV speakers back in 1980. At CEDIA there were sound bars every where. Since I had access to so many sound bars, I decided to see if a sound bar really could provide a half way decent HT experience. The best sounding sound bar, by far was the Atlantic Technology H-PAS Power Bar 235. I was shocked at just how good this sound bar did for stereo and for 5.1 surround sound in a dedicated room. There was not a sub in the system and yet I was hearing tight solid sounding bass. Bass that you would not have thought possible from that sound bar. Now I am not about to consider replacing my 5.1 HT system, but I have come to learn that sound bars can be used and do a much better job than I though was possible.
Best sound bar that I heard at CEDIA
