Bar behind seating ideas

I'm getting ready to refinish the theater... I finished in April then lost everything below 6 inches when the sump pump failed.
I have a row of 5 seats (3 in a couch, 2 in a love seat). I would like to build or buy a counter height table and chairs that go behind the seating. I like the knee wall and countertop, but I'm not sure I want it to be permanent. My thought is it will add seating that would be better for game day viewing.

Pictures or links to pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Well, mine is permanent, but I went a slightly different route. After looking a lot of counter-height chairs (aka barstools with backs), I didn't find anything I liked. So I built my third row bar table on a riser, put the bar table at, well, table height - and was then able to choose any chair to use instead of stools. Much greater selection. I found mine at Pier One of all places. So cheap, and actually comfortable enough for a full movie seating...

Hard to see the actual bar in this image, but you can see some better views in the link in my sig...

That is one sweet looking theater. Do you have a build thread? I hope my theater turns out half as nice as yours.

The Fadum theater uses swivel seating for a third row/desk setup.

These are exactly what I was looking for. So a combo of riser, short bar and comfy seats. You both solved my problem. I'm not sure what mine will look like, but conceptually I'm on my way. Those theaters are great.

Now I want more pictures from other AVSers.

Show me your riser, short bar, comfy chair pictures....

my bar is 8 feet by 1.5 feet 34 inches tall now but it will be on wheel add another 6" for the wheels. the reason I want it on wheels is because my room is quite small only 16' long I can push it against the back if needed. frames by 2x4 and 3/4 oak plywood

Those swivel seats look like a great alternative to the conventional bar stools typically used. Look nice too.
