iScan Duo vs. Denon DVP-602CI

I need a scaler as I will soon be upgrading to a newer HDTV and I have many, many S-Video sources I don't want to downgrade to composite SD first.

How do people feel about the iScan Duo vs. the Denon DVP-602CI? Surprisingly a search doesn't find any real comparisons, other than the fact that the iScan has more HDMI inputs and has had firmware updates where the Denon is what it is when it was released.

I don't know whether there is a shootout between these two for scaling. However, the duo comes with a fully functional (and easy to use) color management system and the Denon does not. As such, unless you have a reference display or a display with its own full color management system, the Duo should be the hands down better unit.

Thanks - just looking through the owner's manual it seems much more fully featured, where the Denon seems more like an HDMI switch that also does composite and component.

at the price onecall is asking I wouldn't consider it. I think the denon is closer to the edge than the duo.
I would not have a duo or radiance if it iwasn't for the cms.
