John Chung Lee has already domed /invented this tech, using nintendo hardware. check you tube

i wonder if there is any connection?
I've been eagerly waiting for this to take.

Correct. It is just another version of Head Tracking Auto 3D. And based on the description of the display I question it's ability to show high quality 2D HD.

for hologram tech we will need to wait many many years....we are very far from that tech.

Sadly, yes, because hologram TVs will be cool some day, in a galaxy far far away.

But just think how big our entertainment rooms will have to be if we want to walk 360 degrees around a 10 ft. wide hologram, to see the action from every angle.

Are you talking about a holodeck or a hologram? Holographic tech has been around fro a while in its primitive state. Sega's already had made hologram videogames like 20 years ago. It was a space cowboy shooter, i can't remember the name. They never took that technology and developed it.

Ehhh... no. It wascalled "Time Traveler", and it wasn't a hologram either. It used a concave mirror to give characters projected from a standard crt set the illusion of being freestanding.
