Anyone have firmware file for DVTPal?

If you want to toss it, toss it my way! I think you might need to replace the internal disk. Check out the main thread on the DTVpal for info on how to do this.

The latest firmware for the DTVPal is F208. You may already have the latest.

Yes I have it. The issue is how to get it to you.

If you want to replace the harddrive - the stock unit is 250GB SATA, You can probably put in any thing up to 1TB , mine has a 500MB .

AS of Jan 2013 I am looking for the F208 firmware. The link at the top of the general DTVPAL AVS forum post that says "link to current firmware" looks awfully suspect as the filename says phpQYEZB5. I would think that it would have F208 in it somewhere. If someone could send it to me at yahtempmail-AVS@yahoo.com, I would appreciate it or vouch for that filename. THANKS.

I don't see a forum on AVS titled DTV Pal. I only see HDTV Recorders. When I do a search on the AVS forums I don't see it either. A pointer to where the forum titled DTV Pal is would be appreciated. My search for posts listing where the firmware download is also don't bring back anything useful. Thanks!

I am just trying to make sure the file is in fact the F208 code and not virus laden. The official DTV Pal topic says it should be TR50_F208_0HUC00.upd.

Lind777: the link you're seeing is probably on a shortcut service, so the final element is their machine-generated code for the link.  It may actually lead to a file with the correct name.

It's a valid file. I had the file already of the same size. Rename the file to "TR50_F208_0HUC00.upd"
Who ever posted the link should of added the rename part.
