Kat Dennings yum

I've got it setup to record, don't know who Kat is but with a name like that she's bound to be good
edit, yum

The co-star (Beth Behrs) is MUCH MUCH cuter than Kat Dennings, who couldn't parlay the movie career (Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, the daughter in the 40 year old virgin, etc) and now has to do a sitcom with a laugh track.

Good start. Definitely on our series record list.

Kat's best work so far has been her cellphone pics.

I have to admit, it made me laugh. The blonde was reviewed as the lesser of the 2 characters, but I found her character charming and well played. I set it up for a series and will give it some time as light fun. I was a bit surprised at the level of some of the sex humor, given that it's on CBS ("where's my waitress --- oh, she's coming", etc).

For a moment there I thought I was watching Showtime.
With the lead in it currently has this show could be around for awhile.

Agree 100%. I don't know what the fascination is about Kat Dennings. Don't find her attractive at all.
The attraction is that Kat is funny and Beth wasn't.
I give it 5 out of 10. Definitely aimed at the 18-24 audience which I am DEFINITELY not. Back story is kind of stupid. Hope they move away from the "Madoff" story line, QUICKLY.

Will try it again, but it isn't on my "must watch" list.

I thought it was pretty bad. The first few lines were about the only part that I found funny. I'm willing to give it one more shot, but at this point I don't have much hope.
It was a decent show. But it was a pilot episode. The storyline and jokes were pretty predictable. It has potential, but needs to improve.

Same here. I wanted to like it, but found every joke really forced and/or cliched. I don't think I laughed once. Oh, I knew when I was supposed to laugh, but I find the kind of humor on a show like this base, telegraphed, and aimed at 16-year-olds. I like mine drier and wittier, like Woody Allen's in Annie Hall, or over the top outrageous, like Larry David's in Curb Your Enthusiasm. Futurama is funny and smart. This show is not.

This quote would sum it up for me.

I watched some of this show...enjoyed it. As far as the two stars, there is a reason all women don't look alike. I don't know their names, but the Brunette would be my type for sure. Boney women just do anything for me. But like I said, to each his own.

Oh, I am of the opposite opinion:

I am only interested in this show because of Kat Dennings. I was watching something else so I only tuned in for bits and pieces. It seemed like the typical CBS sitcom, I.E. not funny, but I will give it a chance.

Maybe (based on some of the lines), on the other hand, it's on CBS. With a laugh track. I assume CBS sitcoms still only adhere to having laugh tracks because the now elderly baby boomers still want laugh tracks and feel uncomfortable without them.

Same here. I watched the whole thing and would give it a 2 out 10. Seems like the storyline is going to be geared more toward women viewers.

Yeah, that really was something....

Yeah... poor Kat Show was kinda meh, but not a lot else on then that I watch.

Thanks to the mammoth 2.5 Men lead-in prior to it, this got ridiculously huge ratings. That was to be expected, but what's interesting is that the majority of people stuck around for the 2nd half of the pilot...

Quote:
9:31-9:45
- 20.467 million viewers)
- 7.5/17 A18-49 (out of 11.4/26)

9:45-10:00
- 18.341 million viewers
- 10.9/16 HH
- 6.7/15 A18-49

Viewership is right around the average episode of NCIS, but those 18-49 ratings are gigantic.

LOVED IT and love Kat. Keeper!

The show is very mediocre, but I find Beth Behrs to be pretty hot so I'll continue watching, Beth has an appealing screen presence that Kat lacks. Also, presumably the actors playing the Asian manager and Russian cook speak perfect English in real life, they need to dial back their accents a bit, sometimes it was hard to understand what they were saying.
