"2 Broke Girls" on CBS HD - Page 10

I think critiquing crude with subsistence and crude without subsistence is looking into this show a little too much. This is a comedy sitcom. If this was a drama, I would expect something different. Will this win any awards for the outstanding writing, probably not, or it probably will, I really don't care. I don't watch shows to worry about that was crude, or that was crude with something funny. Does it really matter?

I don't think of the show as a parody so that line of thinking doesn't apply to me.

I am saying either something is funny or it is not -- this show to me is generally not.

There are numerous crude movies, TV shows, etc. that ARE crude and very funny.

Archer is better

+1

I think they should call it 2 hot girls, b/c that's the only reason I watch. Actually I don't even watch. I just sort of stare for a few minutes then watch something else.

It's excellent for checking skin tone on my TV though.

Anybody still watching this show? We watched it last night on DVR, and had some real funny parts. Maybe I'm getting older, but I'm surprised what they can get away with on Network TV eek.gif

One of the funniest in a while
I'm still watching, but at this point I'm watching mostly BECAUSE it's crude. Other than that, it has no real value.

Certainly for Ryan Hansen this arc on "2 Broke Girls" is a big step up from "Friends with Benefits," but that's not saying much.  "Guys with Kids" is a big step up from "Friends with Benefits" for Zach Cregger.

I had quite some laughs on Monday... lots of intimate body parts mentioned... shaving her "ex-president" like a smile? ROFL

But when the vomiting starts- I'm out... some things are just not funny.

If you tuned out during the vomiting you missed out when she came out of the bathroom. Now that was funny.

No actual vomit was shown... (like the old SNL days when they use "vomit hoses" for the bits)

Great scene! They should've had Caroline come out of the bathroom nude but digitally blurred. I'll concede that this show is pretty crude but we enjoy it anyway. It doesn't take itself too seriously and the humor is about as x-rated as 2 1/2 Men, Whitney, Mike & Molly, etc. I think it's safe to say the Cheers, Friends, Seinfeld type clean sitcoms of the 80's & 90's are dead. Even Modern Family drops 1 or 2 risque jokes every episode.

Pretty hilarious. Sophie needs to GO AWAY...
I LIKE Sophie!

The cruder the better!! Put the show on later and add some more skin!! I love this show.

Before it came on, when i saw the promo's for it, i thought it was going to be horrible, but they push the envelope and its great.

Agreed. Can't stand her. I either FF through or mute the parts where she is on.
I don't mind Sophie, but she should be in smaller doses.

I think the show went downhill when they brought Sophie on. Lets get the focus back on the girls and their cupcakes.

Wow - I can't believe this is still on the air. But then again, a new group of males reach puberty all the time.

Good one!!!!

Just one example of why I am not in the "the cruder the more funny boat".

I thought one of the most funny moments of last night's show was "Yes, I know -- beer is the Devil's saliva".
I'm still loving this show but I wish there was more Oleg and a bit less Sophie. Caroline and Max have great onscreen chemistry. I think they're funniest when they break character and smile when delivering particulary raunchy lines. I'd love to watch a live filming as I bet the energy on the set is pretty wild.

Who knew Beth Behr had moves? I don't generally like super skinny women but she's incredibly hot and pretty darn funny!
Yeah she had some moves, that even "moved" me, if you know what I mean.. of course it gave the Amish boy a huge "O" he even feinted

I wonder how's in the set? Kat and Beth should be laughing it off after each scene I imagine..
According to Kat Dennings, they are both best friends IRL. So that helps when they are shooting Im sure.
Great episode. Lol

Caroline comes off as more a spaz than a cordinated dance imo.

Of course many refer to this as "bad acting".
