Maybe this thread should be renamed, since we're now discussing a different show

Personally I don't/didn't care for the laugh track but if I didn't think about it, it was easily ignored.
I'll give the series a few more shots. Totally implausible situations but some nice eye candy from the two gals and the 1/2hr.(22min.) goes by quickly

I enjoyed it, looking forward to it next week.

LOL, #$%^ing hilarious and that's not the drunk talking.

The show is kind of so-so. It just doesn't click for me.

My wife and I love this show. Very sharp writing but I don't know if they can keep it going. We'll see.
I am afraid that the wife and I had to delete the season's pass for this one. Just not our type of humour.
It's been watched twice now simple because we're to lazy to turn the channel. I doubt that will happen much longer.

Horse poop humor, it doesn't get any better then that

Two Broke Girls... but only one funny girl.

I liked the pilot but thought the 2nd episode was just terrible.

I couldn't believe the drop off in humor from the first ep to this one. I don't think I actually laughed once. What a horrible second effort after a very good start.

Same here, not a single laugh. I did have a few "Oh brother" moments though.

Holy crap this show is terrible. I'll give it another episode or two to fix all that's wrong with it, but I doubt it can recover.

+1 but I still like the eye candy

Kat Denning is funny when she is not forced to say one-liners. I am not sure this makes sense, but it feels like the writers are writing jokes instead of having people say or do something funny. They have Kat Denning's character slinging out jokes when a more normal line would have been much funnier. The blonde is not really all that funny and her character only has a hint of reality to it.

Wow! Your bed is so soft.

How can anyone not laught at that?

This show is a lot funnier than New Girl, which gets better ratings so far.
I agree with the general sentiment here; The pilot showed promise, the 2nd episode was terrible. They've got at least one good comedic actress, but they don't seem to trust her to be funny. I'll give it one more try, but that 2nd ep. really stank.

Speak for yourself. This gentleman, prefers Brunettes.

I'm gonna go with you on that one. But that's not much of a recommendation. The wife and I made it all the way through the second episode before deleting the season pass. For New Girl, we only made it through half the 2nd episode before turning it off.

Either way, I can see I am going to watch a lot less TV this season than last.

I gave the first episode a 2 out of 10 and I give the second a 1.

A horse? Give me a fricking break. Yeah -- horses aren't expensive to feed and care for for 2 broke girls. I would think they would be strongly considering Trigger fillets....

The jarring musical "sound effects" going between scenes is also very annoying. Will give this show another episode or two but I am not too optimistic.

You guys are all ridiculous... Are you going to complain that there are not enough commercials next...

No - what I find more and more in these threads to complain about is the constant carping of a few 'fans' of a show that simply can't abide (mostly) realistic criticism of it and believe the threads are solely meant for praise and happy faces. Personally, I really liked the pilot, but hated the 2nd. That's the show's fault, not mine and doesn't make me or anyone else "ridiculous" simply for having an opinion different from yours.

Maybe you and others like you should consider a 2nd thread for all shows you like called "XYZ Show - Happy Talk Only". The rest of us will recognize the one-sided nature of the 'discussion' and gladly avoid it for more meaningful discourse.

I do not really think this shows all that well, and have stated as much. However, I do plan to continue watching for a bit, but if all I have to contribute to a discussion thread is "this show sucks" then I won't bother. It would not be enjoyable for me or for anyone who actually enjoys watching the show.
If a new show sucks, it's pretty standard around here to see people keep giving it another chance, and keep saying it sucks if it does before they eventually give up on it and go away. This show does in fact suck so far, and I don't see myself sticking with it much longer.
I thought that the first ep was ok, but laughed out loud during the second. Not sure why so many here dislike it so much, but it has my attention.

I found them so similar that if I liked or hated one I couldn't see the other going in the opposite direction. Then again I don't live or die on a joke or two... rather I buy the concept or not.
