Well I did not expect that. looks like the show will be going in a different direction, perhaps not a bad thing.

I'm all for however lowbrow they want to go and I take the entire show as a parody. But celebrating blood-splatters (for me) came across a little creepy. I presume next week Dexter will be making a guest appearance? smile.gif

My goodness people in this thread are too sensitive. You'd think there were nothing but chicks in here.

Well, we now know you aren't too sensitive with that gender stereotype.

What? isn't 2BG's a show for us guys?

The jokes and eye candy clearly directed it at us..

Mostly it is, but I have a friend who is very athletic, dates women, pretty much has all the masculine traits society has told us he should have, but he freaks out at the sight of blood. Meanwhile, I have another female friend who is short with a high pitched voice, and loves slasher films.

I have zero issue with the blood. Actually, I have zero issue with all of it. I simply feel Max glorifying the blood-splatters was rather odd...

And my 61 year old fundamentalist Christian female best friend turned me on to Breaking Bad!

Hasn't anyone been watching this season of Dexter? Its blood spatter, not splatter. Sheesh! biggrin.gif

So me saying Sex in the City is a chick flick is gender stereotyping? It's not like saying something like that is not common knowledge.

All I saying is getting upset about the crudeness of the show, the thing about blood, well, I'd rather be complaining about my tools not working correctly or car issues. This show was obvisouly made to push the limits. My wife is a "chick" and she laughs at this show and the crudeness of it. Just my thoughts, you don't have to agree with them.

I thought it was a bloody good episode.

Question (more of a nitpick) about the episode with the Amish dudes. Did they seriously build a barn in their backyard, most likely without a permit?

Yup, and they are just renters so it is not probable on that angle as well. Shrug, on this part I give it a pass for being a television show.

Squatting renters. Remember, Max didn't even sign the lease. So much for flying under the radar as far as the landlord is concerned...
And apparently they build it for free, because the money they have saved went up instead of way down....

The landlord hasn't noticed the horse, so perhaps the barn could get past him/her as well.  But as Tighr pointed out, this show is not a paragon of consistency.

Lol yah. Agreed

I agree that that is an interesting plot development. I was wondering how they were ever going to get that money saved up. wink.gif
post #320 of 469
They could always sell that horse, it's bound to be worth something! smile.gif

Indeed and I'm still baffled of what they are getting away with in this show...

Almost all the joke are very sexual and they are funny, personally I don't let my little girl watch this show..

My bad rboster. The image appeared on broadcast tv @ 830 and contained no profanity or nudity although it certainly eluded to something profane. I honestly wasn't trying to push the envelope.
My apologies.

The cupcake outfits were too absurd not to be funny.

Didn't you just ache to see Beth Behrs pull her head in like a turtle so that the top would close up when Caroline didn't want Stacey to see her?  It didn't happen, or maybe it was shot but cut.
