I want to use TVersity as a UPNP server in order to transcode all my HD content, mainly MKV files, to SD when watching this content on my old X-Box. So I set TVersity to "always transcode", which is clear enough in my oppinion, and set the maximum allowed video size to 720x576 pixels in the TVersity settings.
However, TVersity never transcodes any of my MKV files. Streaming with TVersity works, but the files are always streamd as they are, for example in 1280x720p resolution. TVersit simply doesn't transcode them, and doesn't throw an error or something similar.
How can I force TVersity to reliably transcode my HD content to SD?
