Denon 1912 AVR Connection to Bridge - HELP!

I am new to the forum, so please be patient with me. I purchased a new Denon model 1912 AVR recently. I upgraded to it in order to use internet functions - internet radio, etc. I cannot place it close enough to my routuer (an Apple Airport Extreme) in order to plug it directly into the router via an ethernet cable. So, I purchased a DLink DAP 1522 Bridge. I now have the Denon hooked to the Dlink bridge via the ethernet cable. When I first powered up the Denon and try to connect to the internet for radio, it worked like a charm. The next day I tried it and it would not connect. Later that same day I tried it and it connected again without a problem and I continue to go through this cycle of connecting ok, and not connecting. I called Denon and they told me this unit will not work with a bridge and that it must be connected directly to the router via the ethernet cable. I find this hard to believe as it has connected to the bridge off and on. Heck, yesterday, it connected and I was able to successfully upgrade the firmware for the Denon through the bridge connection. Do any of you have this kind of set up and if so, what am I doing wrong? Is there a setting I must change or should I change the Denon from DHCP setting to a static IP address? Please help me out if you can.

Thanks in advance!

Jd, i am lost. I don't understand what you posted. Does it mean I need to read the manual that came with the unit, or are you referencing a post on here with info? Do you or anyone else know whether this 1912 avr will work with my bridge?

Can anyone help with this issue? If you have a Denon 1912 and have successfully connected it to a bridge, please share with me how you did it.
Thanks!

If you want to find a 1912 owner with your specific bridge, you may want to post in the Denon XX12 Owner's thead linked in my sig. Several folks in that thread have successfully linked to their routers with a wireless bridge.

Thanks, jd. I will give that a try. I am about ready to take everything back and try to get a refund.
Thanks again.

I must be missing something. When I clicked on the link you provided, I saw nothing that would allow me to post a new thread. What am I doing wrong?

I guess this is the end of my help. Thanks to those that tried.

Help is being provided in the XX12 Owner's thread so there's no reason to respond here as well.
