Probably since it gets the final four episodes into the May sweeps and allows them to run the last seven back to back maybe?

This show really seems to have gone up to a new level. It may be soapish, but it's some well executed drama.

Yup, that's likely the plan, start April 12th and get the bigger portion of the eps and the season finale in during sweeps.

only about 150 of them in the US, total production of 500 world wide. Placing orders stopped in 2009 but will take until the end of the year 2012 to finish building this bespoke car.

Hard to tell because the scene was so dark but it looks like it might be the Lexus press car.

Revenge' Will End Season With Cliffhanger But Tie Loose Ends In Case It's Not Renewed
By The Deadline.com Team - Mar. 11, 2012

Ray Richmond contributes to Deadline's TV coverage.

While not spectacular, the ratings for ABC's freshman soap Revenge are solid enough to warrant a renewal, especially given the show's strong fan base and critical praise. But while hopeful that there will be as second season, the series' creator/executive producer Mike Kelley is not taking any chances. We're going to end things with a cliffhanger, he said at a PaleyFest panel this afternoon. If we're lucky enough to get a second season, we'll be teasing another giant event that will be resolved in some way midway through the season, followed by the aftermath of that.

In the vein of The Count Of Monte Cristo, Revenge stars Emily VanCamp as a woman returning to the Hamptons to avenge the betrayal of her father years before. The major incident so far this season was the murder of the scheming Tyler Barrol (Ashton Holmes), revealed in a momentous February episode, with rich boy Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) accused of the crime. From here this season, we'll be setting up new alliances and new incidents, Kelley said. But what we set out to do as we move toward the finale is provide solutions to everything we've set up. Because while we're hoping for that second season, it's not a guarantee, and we want to make sure we satisfy everyone who put their time and care into this show.

Besides Kelley, VanCamp and Bowman, the 11-person panel attending the Revenge event included the series' other members who appeared happy to be there and still standing, since, as Ashley Madekwe put it, All of us think we're dying. VanCamp offered her theory for why the series with high body count has been successful thus far. People want to see a takedown of the rich, she said. Kelley believes the secret has been a combination of great writing and VanCamp's ability to come across as sweet and likeable while doling out revenge. We could have gotten some dark ass-kicker (for the role), but instead we got this lovely young woman whom you instantly like, he said. I certainly do. At that moment, Kelley noticed that co-star Madeleine Stowe, sitting to his left, was feeling neglected. I feel the same way about you, he told the actress who plays the powerful matriarch of the Grayson family. But not every day, shot back Stowe. Well, at least it's mutual, Kelley said.

Translation: it WON'T be renewed!
If so that would be a shame as I've enjoyed it (along with Ringer).

Too bad.

It will get renewed especially given it's 18-49 numbers in it's timeslot.

I think it has an 8/10 chance of being renewed. Maybe if all of ABC's spring shows (Missing, Scandal, etc.) are huge whopping hits or if the ratings drop horribly in the last run of episodes, things could change, but as things stand now, it's pretty likely to be renewed.

TVBYTHENUMBERS has Revenge listed as "More likely to be renewed." They have a pretty good record of predicting renewals/cancellations.

(Ringer, on the other hand, is unfortunately listed as "More likely to be cancelled.")

ABC is not going to cancel with Desperate Housewives ending & all the other New ABC shows that bit the dust very early ....

The latest episode had had a cop or a U.S.Marshal putting an ankle monitor over Daniel Grayson's trousers, rather than under. It was right out of the Keystone Kops playbook.

Yeah....as soon as he did it, I was like "how's he supposed to change clothes now?"

I presumed his pant leg would slid underneath. Being a professional I'm sure it wasn't his first time. Using the pant leg probably leaves exactly the right amount of play.

Since we are being technical, he also would not have been held at Rikers Island. Rikers is a New York City jail and the crime was committed in Suffolk County so he would have been held in the Nashua Street Jail while awaiting trial.

I figured the said Rikers cuz most people had heard of it and it has a pretty harsh reputation.

I thought the previous episode was very good but this last one was a retread and pretty much a waste of time.

It looked like a rebuilding of the Madeleine Stowe charater. Maybe, she doesn't
want to play the wicked witch anymore, aka, this century's Joan Collins.

Making her character sympathetic is impossible, but making her character a psychologically disturbed individual with a tragic Lady Macbeth Complex might do it. Get some signs of OCD to deepen her instead of oh, she's really just a victim of a bad soap opera marriage.

Oh, by the way, Madeleine Stowe's charter burns hot when she's evil and when she's not, she not hot and the sexy is let out of the show like the air or lightness in movement out of a child's free floating toy.

I thought the last few episodes have been bad, and the series has taken a huge downturn. They have dropped anything sexy from the scripts, cut all the outdoor scenes, and all of the fun. Now it is just boring long speeches about the stupid trial, and dramatic music. It looks like it was filmed in a day on a sound stage, like General Hospital.

Agree with your assessment about Ms. Stowe's character.

Agree, probably I will stop watching. I'm not really interested in the characters an font really care if there is any big payoff in the end.

How much do you hang outside in the winter? I know when I lived in New England, we only went to the shore in the summer and stayed pretty much indoors all winter. Seems pretty accurate to me,
