You have to watch and watch with Sears.
Last year I bought a French door 25 cu side by side that was originally $2000.00
I watched the price change and go on sale at least 7 times in 3 months and at one point it was $999 then they also took another 10% off that for using a Sears card and I paid $899 for it.

Ordered mine today to replace my 52" Aquos after reading your reviews guys.

Took delivery on Friday of a 632. Have three Panny Plasmas and two front projectors. Moved the 65" Panny to the family room and popped the Sharp on the stand in the living room.


Tweaked Suzook's settings, hooked up all my cables.

My impression is that this produces simply fantastic PQ. I am sitting 10-13 feet depending on seating position and I have no loss of brightness or contrast at any position. Terrific detail, color and contrast. Sharp as a pin PQ. Zero motion blur...and I hate motion blur. Could not be happier. Wife is even thrilled smile.gif

I did have the double football and golf ball in flight thing until I turned off the motion enhancement. That solved the problem.

I did try some BD movies with the Film setting to advanced. Heh heh the SOE is just wacky! I must to admit to being intrigued but it is probably just the novelty of it. Shutting it off completely eliminated it so I have no complaints with having the option to play with it.

The thing is massive in my rather small living room. I love it smile.gif

This will be my go to set when I don't feel like cranking up the the PJ.

Four large panels and counting. I wonder how many I will have at my death smile.gif

I don't know what happened in those first weeks, but given time the PQ is smack on. This set is a keeper.

my 632 is being delivered next sat. can someone look at this mount and let me know if it's ok? Sanus 32" - 70" Flat-Panel TV Wall Mount (VLL10-B3). already bought this, wondering if i should return it before i rip open the package.

want a slim profile mount, states it goes up to 125lbs. 632 is about 115lbs without stand so it should be fine. my worry is about cable clearance. i can't find hi res shot so of the back of the TV. do the hdmi cables plug in to the side or stick out the back? what about the power cord and component cables? specs state 0.67" from the wall...which is really tight. don't want any problems like the cables getting in the way of mounting.

Can someone do me a favor and measure the distance from the bottom of the TV to the lower holes for hanging and post it here?

yea, it was just something the installer guy told me. logically it makes sense, big heavy tv will eventually burn out the spring or whatever and it';ll just start tilting down (sagging). but if you don't see an issue, and the one i saw is rated for 70" or 150lbs, then i might look into that instead. having reservations that the slim profile one will not give me enough clearance for component cables.

I did not buy the slim profile Sanus and I think I have just enough room to reach my arm behind it to plug in...
There is no spring in my Sanus mount for tilt..it uses knobs that you loosen or tighten so I dont see how it can ever sag...plus its rated for 200 lbs.

Go to Sanus website...they have a complete pull down menu for the tv and all their mounts and it tells all the measurements

Guess I wasn't clear. My question does not have anything to do with Sanus. I want to know whether I'll be able to use my current stand with the new TV.

Have any 632 owners used a 3D NOW or HDFury4 processor to view 3D on your TV?

I'm interested in eventually getting into 3D and rather than getting the 80" Sharp 844 now, I would get the 632 and add an external 3D processor later.

Hi Bob:

Have you thought about the lc70le745? The cost of all of the 3D Now equipment with 2 pair of 3d glasses and emitter is just about $500. Lately, if you can find a 632 - they are about the same price as a 735. Just my 2 cents...

Hi guys and thanks for all the help I found within this thread.

I have had my TV for about 2 months and am very pleased with it except for one thing: SOMETIMES, when I watch tennis, the ball is very choppy as it flies back and forth, and other times it's fine and doesn't skip across the screen at all. I largely use the Suzook settings, but was wondering if there is anything I could try to correct this. Also, I'm wondering if there is nothing I can do about it because maybe its the broadcast or recording quality issue. It's just that I never remember seeing this on my old 50" plasma.

I have UVerse service for TV and use the UVerse provided DVR for viewing. Any tips you guys might have would be appreciated.

Just occurred to me. this set is now 1 year old so its days must be numbered. I firmly believe that this set is the best of the 80+ inch iterations and am very glad I got mine. If you agree and don't have one yet better get on while they are still available.

I love this set and this site. Been enjoying it immensely since I got it and just swung by to reaffirm its awesome but also was going to ask how to stop seeing 3-4 footballs on the long 50 yard bombs!

But damn close up HD looks great. Loved watching the Breaking Bad episodes on this thing.

Now...off to Packers/Bears!

Hi, I checked, and I already have motion enhancement off. Any other ideas? I suspect it is just the broadcast, but I've never noticed it on my old plasma. I also noticed that it happens in the same spots all the time - in other words, if I see it happen, then rewind to replay that part, it always happens there, but not in other parts of the show.
