The phase plugs that where supposed to come in at the end of this week is now set to Dec. 14. So that's that, no drivers for me in 2012.

Hi Guys,

I was in Green Bay a couple days ago at AE Speakers. While walking through the driver room I figured you might like a quick spy photo of some of what was in process:



There were still more in process or waiting for phase plugs not in the picture. Last I talked to John, it sounded like phase plugs were machined and received so they can now head for anodizing after a quick buffing in house. The photo above is not as comforting as shipping notices, but still nice to see plenty of parts nearing completion.

Oh,
I've been sent a e-mail saying my (3) TD15M-4 are completed & ready to ship. The e-mail was to confirm my shipping address, I imagine I'll get an invoice once she receives my reply. ? .. Motivation to complete my kitchen remodel, at least something to make the wife happy lol., and Merry Christmas to me, and I was just feeling sad I did not buy myself anything, whew......

EV, I read somewhere that John said the Apollo optioned drivers were going to be built last, sorry.
I'll be doing a build thread on my TD15M-4, SEOS, DNA-360.
I noticed Erich's Fusion-15 Sentinel, that uses a B&C 15PS76 driver has very similar cut-out dim's to the TD15,
and offered In a 2.5 cf sealed enclosure (listed as an option). 2.75 cf being better, but I may opt. for a flat pack over ideal volume.
I'll need to contact Erich to verify availability, or If he planned on offering a new baffle altogether.
UPS, says I'll receive them tomorrow.

I purchased my TD10M's from moxxy*mig who was a group buy member, still waiting to hear when those will be shipped from AE. Need phase plugs for my TD12M's a well.

Are you building the crossover for that build? And are you using the SEOS 12 or 15?

I originally wanted to do active, and showing my amp a 4 ohm load for the woofer gave It more power (ah..). Then Mark S. said he may make a x-over using the TD15M-4, but I think It was for a QSC 'guide. So, I'll wire a 4 pole neutrik In the back, and go active for now, someday maybe pulling the TD15 and wiring a x-over In.

SEOS 12, In plastic, to answer your question. I may order some fiberglass 15's If someone posts good results changing from a 12".

Still no word here. I have some TD15M apollos in the order and, like Hindikush mentioned above, my understanding is that all the apollos are being done last. :-/

Yeah I remember Mark Seaton mentioning he was building a x-over for that driver. That would be sweet if that were to ever happen.

All new woofers are shipping with phase plugs now. It will take me a little time to get through and package and ship phase plugs for the other ones. Hopefully is Alyssa is able to come in to work again soon she will be able to do that.

Yes, John Is correct, UPS just dropped off my (3) TD15M-4's & there are phase plugs installed.
Yes I know, I'll get to the build thread soon. I'm also at work, so no speaker porn/pictures until I get home.

Facebook shows a couple pallets going out the door at AE. I've yet to receive my shipping confirmation. I'd be more than happy to have an explanation. If you can produce OEM woofers, you can produce 15 month old group buy woofers.

since it gets deleted when a request is made for update on the thread on AE......

any update on phase plugs going out for the first round of woofers that went out without them?

update on remaining woofers to be built? the latest update doesn't reference woofers I'm waiting on....

I've got a shiny new TD12S that's never been out of the shipping box if somebody needs one. It was bought for a project that never happened.

11...9 TD15M-4 Apollo and 2 TD18H+4ohm Apollo.

It took over 15 months to get them but I gotta say John's packaging was solid and the drivers look great. Fit and finish appears to be better than many larger OEM build houses. Haven't had much chance to listen to them yet but I did get a few hours with the TD15M's last night.

4 of the TD15M are pulling duty here.
