+1 on this. I use my Kill-a-Watt more to see if something weird is going on. If I build 5 systems that use 20W and the sixth (same components) is pulling 40W I known something is up somewhere. It's the same way I use reported temps and WEI -- more as a comparison tool to tell me if something's up not for the absolute values.
