Inside a folded horn

Why are the corners not rounded or elliptical like a brass instrument on the inside of horn or folded horn?

Is it just the build difficulty or is it not worth the extra effort?

I'm working on a couple of designs and/or maybe improving (experimenting) with some tried and true ones.

If you bent one up out of metal the corners would be rounded.

That's only required if the horn operates into the midrange, roughly above 400Hz.

None whatsoever, nor for any subwoofer.
