Yes I realize he's not the principal writer on this, and his comrades have a rather spotty resume as well, but none have worked on a show I wasted in so much that let me down.

I made it thru the first 3 episodes and never saw another one.

Well, not everybody thinks that way about Lost, myself included.

The majority of people don't feel that way. People whose personal viewing expectations weren't met feel that way. With a show like LOST, that was unavoidable. It wasn't a perfect show by any means, but to call enjoying it for six years "a waste" is just silly. And besides it's writing was superb.

Unfortunately this film was not.. calling it "a waste" would be appropriate.

This was indeed a waste of time. I didn't really care about any of the characters anyway. They were all fairly mean and/or dumb and the whole reason for Olivia Wilde's character to even be there was paper thin. In fact, the whole movie had a kind of mean spirited vibe to it.

The plot, if there really ever was one, was an incoherent mess and the conflict was wrapped up way too easily. The redemption of the villainous character, played by Russell Crowe, in "3:10 To Yuma" was handled so much better than Harrison Ford's evil cattle baron here.

As for Olivia Wilde herself, she looked stunning for the few brief minutes she had in "In Time," but in this movie her looks (and acting talent for that matter) were pretty much wasted.

I saw both cowboys and aliens and rise of the planet of the apes on the same day in the theatre. I did like rise of the planet of the apes better.

Saw it this weekend with my 2 boys, a so-so film.

Overall I'd give it a C or C+, nothing more.
Glad waited till blu-ray to watch it (NetFlix).

The movie definitely had a 1st and 2nd half that seemed not tied together well, lots of big name actors in it, still missed the mark.
