'Grimm' on NBC HD - Page 34

I'm all caught up on Grim now. One thing I can say with certainty... Juliette has to go.

I, for one, think she has become an albatross around the neck of this series.wink.gif

I highly doubt that will happen. But they should improve her role or give her an entertaining exit.

At least finish the memory loss storyline.
That memory story line is freaking pissing me off. It is so lame and useless. It was like they literally couldn't think of a single thing to do so lets have her sit there and see past show highlights. She wants to know, embrace it, she yells at the image when it fades but yet she runs out of the trailer for no reason. When she is in bed, she is suddenly terrified to the point of curling up. So lame.

At this point, getting rid of Juliette would almost be a mercy killing...

Yes. As bad as that story is, even worse that it keeps dragging on.
I enjoyed this week's episode more than usual, but that's probably only because it slightly altered the tedium of the show's regular formula of getting called to a crime scene, finding out the monster of the week was behind it, and chasing it down. I suppose we'll get back to that in two weeks' time. At least Revolution did one thing right by staying off the air for several months so the second half of the episodes could run without interruptions. This part of the season is otherwise irritating as far as other shows are concerned, what with every other week being reruns to fulfill the artibrarily scheduled requirement of ending the season in May for the Nielsen sweeps.

I thought the episode was hilarious (minus the Juliette stuff of course).

If you're in the San Francisco area, be aware that tonight's episode is on KICU. KNTV is showing baseball.

Grimm is moving to Tuesdays at 10:00 PM starting April 30. I assume there will not be an episode next Friday.

That's correct. It would seem that NBC is using the cancellation of 'Ready For Love' to test Grimm's prospects on a more competitive night for the remainder of the season. I suppose depending on how it performs, it may or may not return to Fridays next season.

Given the preemption of Grimm on the east coast, I wonder what episode they will be showing on the west coast. If any.

Lots of repeats (Grimm, Shark Tank, etc.) out here in the west.

Yeah, tonite's episode was a repeat.frown.gif
post #1009 of 1502
Last night at 9:00pm eastern in Canada, on CTV, we did see the latest episode of Grimm.
It was a repeat in the Bay Area even though the Dish guide description was for a new episode.
Any word when they are going to show "Ring of Fire" (the name of the episode for last night)? It would be nice ifr they put it on demand without the usual delay.

Not surprisingly, the LA stations also had a repeat, one from much earlier this year. The guide data said it should have been a new episode, but that wasn't the reality. frown.gif Next Tuesday, the guide says it is the next episode after the one scheduled for Friday, so I hope that they change that.

While I know there will be ways to see the episode that was supposed to air last night, unfortunately it's either watching on a 21 in. computer screen or watching in No-Def on our On Demand channel.

I sure hope they decide to air this one next week and just push everything a week later.

Thanks for the heads up on the change to Tuesdays 10 pm!   tv.com shows Ring of Fire scheduled for 4/26, but with NBC already scheduling "Dateline" to start 4/26, it clearly will be a messy, confused transition. My local station has a webpage for pre-emptions and schedule changes, but do they use it?  No.   My internet connection is too slow for streaming, so that's no solution if I miss where they put that episode.  I hate midseason schedule shuffling, I hope it is good news for Grimm, but it's harder to gain audience when people are midway into another show's season.

Since Grimm is filmed here in PDX the local NBC affiliate KGW often does spots on the show during their newscasts (cast interviews, updates etc), and this morning they said Ring of Fire would air next Friday, with ep 19, Endangered, starting the Tuesday night slot on the 30th.  Whether or not that goes for all affiliates across the country....

Not showing on my guide. I have "Endangered" showing on Tuesday and "Ring of Fire" missing in action!
It's Ring of Fire is listed on the NBC website for this Friday, 4/26. That's plenty of time for the DVR schedulers to update.
