Kind of funny- Tessa telling the football player girlfriends "you should be home watching TV- it's Wednesday night- it's 9:30... there's got to be something good on"..

Or it would have been funny if ABC hadn't spoiled it by using it in spots for "Suburgatory" all week.
A past sitcom that ABC aired in that same slot, later renamed "Adventures in Television," started out titled "Wednesday, 9:30, 8:30 Central."
Pretty decent season 2 finale' last night.
George certainly stepped in it- Tessa and Dallas out- she devil Dalia moves in
Liked the throw-down between Tessa and Dalia- a long time coming.
Jane Levy does comedy well- but she's even better at more serious stuff like the Mandy Milkovich role in season one of Shameless. Edited by replayrob - 4/18/13 at 11:23am
I agree, great show last night. AFA Dalia moving in, I wonder if it was just one more way to get back at Tessa or if she truly wanted a father figure or something else...
I was watching season 1 of Modern Family last night and spotted Jane Levy in one brief scene
Realy fine season finale. I was very impressed how the writers have been setting things up for months to pay off in the finale.
George has been overdoing his relationship with Dallas all season and her character showed again that she's really the most level headed one on the show. From the Ann Gasteyer character becoming a real estate agent resulting in the disastrous move, to Tessa's breakup with Ryan, to Alan Tudyk's failed pursuit of Carmen, this was a satisfying climax. I've watched the show primarily because the cast is just so darn talented but it's actually a pretty good show.
Tessa sang her mother's song in the season opener this year, not last year's finale, and in both instances I was taken off guard that it ends with the show's theme song. Well done...

Confirmed by watching- she sang the theme song at the end of S02E01..
I'll take the two Roberts’ word for it. Now that I think about it, Season 1's finale ended with Helen showing up at Tessa and George's door for her first encounter with Tessa in years, and Tessa didn't know about the song until Helen had let her go through Alex's things, so it couldn't have happened in that episode.
At any rate... having Tessa and then George sing the same song, one to start the season- the other to end the season... book-ended it nicely.
Looking forward to season three...
I am pretty impressed how emotionally involved I am with these characters. Suburgatory has always been a very meh show. Last on the DVR to watch, but they really got it going to end the season.
