speakers: energy take classic 5.1

need advice for good avr under $300 (maybe). i don't need airplay or pandora streaming or whatever software. need the avr to be 3d ready. thanks!

Check the Best Buy stores in your area as last year's HDMI 1.4 AVRs (eg. Denon 1611/591 and 1911/791) are on clearance at low prices, some within your budget.

i currently live in singapore. we don't have best buy so i need avr names/models to look for here. USD$300 is just an estiamte.

Considering that you're in Singapore its gonna hard for us to find something in your $300 price range. Especially if you say those receivers go for $900+ over there.

there may not be anything in the $300 price range.

You're likely to get a better deal on last year's models and as your sources to purchase an AVR are likely limited .. why don't you do some legwork and provide a list of those in your price range and then get feedback on them.
