is there no way to check your games list from the web browser? nm. you can sort your recent activity by "completion" and I think that'll show all your games.
I really wish we could talk about the new Dashboard. But I think I'm allowed to say it's very impressive. And Kinect no longer feels like just a peripheral.
When I logged onto it, I honestly felt like it was overwhelming. but after playing with it for a few minutes it doesn't seem so big. I really like it. will be cool once I get used to it.
This dash is a nice improvement over the old one, for the most part. It's kind of XMB-ish and everything is condensed and easy to get.
I still have no desire to get a Kinect though.
Yea I don't have a Kinect. While moving through the dash with my hands & voice search may be fun I think that the novelty would wear off quickly.
Also keeping me from getting a Kinect is that I have a coffee table and am not that far away from the TV. The biggest non-selling point is that my 8-year old son's friend has a Kinect at his house and he rarely uses it and my son never even asks if they can go to his house to use it. If my 8-year-old isn't interested in it now I figure that he would only grow less interested in it as he gets older.
Maybe when the XBOX 720 comes out it will present some more compelling reasons for me to adopt the Kinect technology.
I'm looking forward to voice control. The Kinect I picked up 'like new' for $82 total off Amazon is very good at responding from a distance. Sure, the current dashboard has few commands, but I got it for games like Mass Effect 3. Hopefully I'll still think it's very good once sound effects are in the way of it listening to me...
For me, this update is ALL about HBO Go. I could care less about Kinect or anything else. One of the prior ones gave us HD installs, one of them gave us better voice quality over chat, and now this gives me HBO Go. That's all I really wanted.

remember to run the kinect audio calibration with your sound system at the volume level that you run your gaming to set the appropriate audio profile. if you run the calibration with the room quiet, the noise canceling doesn't work well when you crank up the sound system for ESPN or whatever game.

Right when I was reading this, a commercial for HBOGo played on my TV. Although it didn't mention HBOGo for the 360?!?! Wonder why??
