Help hooking up BD to Receiver to HDTV

I am having a problem getting my LG BD530 Blu-Ray player to work through my Pioneer VSX-1021-K Receiver. My tv is an LG LED.
I have everything hooked up properly. The Blu-Ray is hooked into the receiver with HDMI into the BD HDMI port and the the HDMI out is hooked into the HDMI port 2 on the tv. I know the tv is getting a signal because if not the port doesn't show on the tv. I've tried different settings, different HDMI ports and different cables and I still get no signal message on the tv. If I hook the BD player directly into the tv it works like a charm. I'm at a loss on what to try at this point and I am getting frustrated. When I toggle through different settings the "No Signal" message on the tv disappears for a couple of seconds then comes right back. The weird thing is I was able to go through the MCACC setup on the Receiver to the tv with no issues, but it just doesn't want to see the Blu-Ray or even my X-Box. Does anyone have any ideas on what I am missing?

You might have a bad HDMI board in the Pioneer. Call Pioneer and see if they will cover it under warranty. My 3D ready 920 was a month plus out of warranty when I found out it wouldn't support 3D and had a defective HDMI board that needed replacing. If it was within a month past the warranty they would have been able to cover it but a month and a day they couldn't do anything about.

Well I figured it out. I'm a moron. haha
I guess I was always used to more simple Receivers. I accidentally had the BD player hooked into the DVD HDMi port. So I put it in the proper one and behold I had picture, but still no sound. Then when I was going through different settings for audio, I had turned the speakers off. Why would there be a button to turn the speakers off??? Anyway, I eventually figured it out and I am happy. Now I just need to figure out how to turn the bass up since I don't have a subwoofer hooked up. I don't want to offend the other people in the building.

moxie - Thanks for the reply. If it would have been that, I would have been mad since I just bought the receiver today. I had to replace my Onkyo because me apartment flooded a month ago and the HDMi ports all burned out on mine.
