System Change

Ok, folks I'm a neophyte here and it seems as tho there are a lot of hardcore folks. But I figure who better to ask how to get good sound. Here's my problem.

I have different components

Sony TV, Samsung 7.1 Receiver , Samsung rear and center speakers , set of Bose 301 speakers, and lots of cables.

My question is to get best sound for best price should I build a new system by:

1. Buying all Samsung--subwoofer, front speakers (Recommendations)
2. Buying all Bose--subwoofer, center and rear speakers (Recommendations)
3. Continuing a hodgepodge

I'm probably a high of the low range guy.

Thanx for your help.

Drop choice number two. Best if at the least the front three speakers sonicly match. In other words don't buy a pair of mains from one company and a center from another. Subs do not need to match, brand wise to the speakers. For the AVR, buy the AVR that has the features that you want at your price point. Also when buying equipment, the lions share of the budget should go to the speakers.
