Yes but it's actually different.
For what concerns products with a real modular structure, like Theta or Datasat,
Upgrades are just a matter of time.. But you know that if you spend today a lot of money you have a possibility tomorrow to upgrade with a "little" effort, avoiding to change all the stuff.
I mean, no problem if you have enough money to buy an expensive item today and to change it after some years.. But, while I can buy something expansive now, I can't be sure to be able to change all the stuff every some year..
That's the flexibility I'm talking about
Moreover, if you need sw upgrades probably you can go to your distributor..
But if something breaks you have to send the product to US. This is not true for many other brands that have an assistence network in several countries, isn't it?
