I understand that some of you also had troubles with your HT companies and I see that more people are moving away from ADA products.
Some of you read my post last week about my experience with buying ADA TEQ unit. I was asked to remove it in order to clarify and resolve the issue. I would like to say thank you for all your replies and to the people who supported me and I am sorry that I didn’t listen to you to wait with the removal of the post before I receive my money back.
Was the issue clarified? Yes! Apparently ADA had troubles with some of their TEQ boards and this led to delay in the production of my TEQ. I have spoken to Mr. Richard Stoerger about the issue and he confirmed that. At the same time he assured me that ADA has not received any of the money paid to my dealer and the TEQ Trinnov was ready if I wanted to continue with the purchase. The problem was that he wanted me to pay extra for shipping which was not acceptable after 5 months delay.
So the main question was where was my money? I felt like I was hit in the guts that my dealer which I treated as a friend and I tried all the time to protect his identity, let me down and at the same time kept $ 500. This is the last email I received from him:
“I also feel it critical to tell you that I made a serious mistake and gave you faulty data. I sent your funds to ADA and they had applied it to an invoice that I did not know was still open. That is why I was unable to get a refund because I had made an accounting mistake. As you can imagine there were many conversations between ADA and myself in the last 24 hours and we did get to the bottom of the issue and it was MY MISTAKE I apologize for the additional grief I caused that could have been avoided if I had been more aware”.
Nice email and I would have closed the case if he didn’t keep $ 500 for his mistakes. Not to mentioned that I agreed to pay all Bank and PayPal charges to avoid any monetary loses to him. It is really disappointing that this person is a prominent member of this forum known as Mr. Integration (http://www.avsforum.com/u/27482/mr-integration
). His name is Mr. David Vranicar and is situated in Florida.
It is really said that we, the customers provide the living of the dealers and they act like a pickpockets. Mr. Richard Stoerger distanced himself from Mr. David Vranicar with the words that he had no control on the behaviour of the dealers. I am sure that he realises that these kind of dishonest dealers dent the reputation of ADA and will drive more people away from the company.
My experience has showed that you should never pay for product which doesn’t exist and should not trust your dealer because in the end they are ordinary people who get blinded by the shine of the money and act like a hungry homeless dogs on the street who tries to keep part of the bone he just founded.
