Transformers 4 and 5 May Shoot Back to Back

Quote:

Fans of transforming robots and paper thin human characters rejoice! Hasbro and Paramount are said to be in talks to not only make parts 4 and 5 of the Transformers franchise, but they might end up doing it back-to-back. And get this director Michael Bay might return after all.

Shia LaBeouf Gets Hit in the Head During a Wild Brawl in Canada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Shia LaBeouf punched in head during brawl in CanActor Shia LaBeouf was knocked to the ground and repeatedly punched in the head during a wild brawl outside a nightclub in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Video footage obtained by TMZ shows a disheveled LaBeouf being attacked by an unidentified shirtless man outside a bar called Cinema Public House.

The "Transformers" star gets to his feet and attempts to hit back but is restrained by a friend who can be heard saying, "You gotta lay low right now!"

LaBeouf, 25, and the other man began arguing inside the bar, TMZ reported. After security kicked them out, the attacker ripped off his shirt and began throwing punches at LaBeouf.

The star's representative would not comment on the brawl but said that LaBeouf had been a regular patron of Cinema Public House since he arrived in Vancouver to shoot the Robert Redford thriller "The Company You Keep

Hey folks, Harry here... Variety is stating that Paramount is hot to do a back to back filming on the next 2 TRANSFORMERS - which Ehren Kruger has hatched a notion for - the Mountain is currently seeking writers. Negotiations are a brewing for Michael Bay, but we do know that Shia LaBeouf will not be back, but we're told that they're going after Jason Statham to take lead duties. Statham is well known for his capacity to kick more ass than LaBeouf... but most of that kicked ass belonged in R-territory, not PG-13. I'd shiv, whoever needed shivving, to have everyone go crazy and get Bay back to R-territory where I most love him too. But I know. TRANSFORMERS is for kids. SO - let's say they get Jason Statham for TRANSFORMERS 4&5... I'd love it if they just imported his Chev Chelios character from the CRANK series... because... CRANK: TRANFORMERS kinda works... Bumblebee could juice Chev whenever he needed a jolt or two.

Right now, the story Variety has is a little science fiction. Paramount has a lot to make happen for this story to come true. They're gonna have to pay out the wazoo to tie Bay up for 2 more films. Bay may insist on shooting a dream project first. I mean, it is a pretty big commitment. They're gonna have to get their scripts written. Well, that's never stopped them before. And they're gonna need to actually talk to Jason.

For me, this would be a chance to reboot the franchise, now that Shia is apparently out. Tonally the whole thing could shift. What do you folks think?

Statham?

I probably would enjoy TF more if they played it more straight-up and lost the "comedy" (for lack of a better word, since it's only considered "comedy" in the broadest sense of the word).

Certainly lose the Michael Bay/George Lucas competition of whoever can create the most annoying characters. At least I assume that's what's going on.

If it was for kids, they wouldn't have dropped the F bomb and the lesser S bomb a couple of dozen times throughout the movie sprinkled with a bunch of sex jokes. My two cents. Make it kid-friendly or make it R rated.

The Transporter in Transformers sounds like a horrible idea.

Statham has been typecast in just the right roles for him, and this is the kind of branching out that seems ridiculous at the outset.

Hell anyone is better off than shia Lapoop

does that mean Jason's real life girlfriend Rosie would be back too?

I'm not sure what you implying here, I was more content with Bay's possible return then anything else.

Michael Bay Denies Involvement with TRANSFORMERS 4 and 5; Hopes to Shoot PAIN AND GAIN Next

Quote:

Just a couple days ago, it was reported that Paramount was in discussions with producer Steven Spielberg and director Michael Bay to return for Transformers 4 and 5 which they are considering shooting back-to-back. The news was a little strange, as Bay had previously declared that Transformers: Dark of the Moon would be his last outing with the robot franchise (Shia LaBeouf said he was done as well). Now Bay is setting the record straight, as he confirms on the Shoot for the Edit message boards (via Tformers) that he’s not involved with the next two Transformers films at all:

“I am currently not talking to Paramount on T4 and T5 despite reports. I’m looking at a lot of possibilities coming my way right now weighing options. Most likely going to be doing the low budget Pain and Gain, a true story crime thriller. It’s a very quick shoot and quite funny. Also just finishing the 3 disc set of the Transformer trilogy.”

I know I'm fantasizing...but could you imagine what a Nolan- or Mann-driven "Transformers" film would be like? I'm not asking for a sit-down coffee meeting between Optimus and Megatron mind you, but still...

Optimus Prime: Seven eons in Cybertron. In the hole for three. Primus before that. Primus as tough as they say?

Megatron: You looking to become a transformologist?

Optimus Prime: You lookin' to go back? You know, I chased down some Decepticons, bots just looking to f- up, get transformed back. That you?

Megatron: You see me doin' thrill-seeker planetary holdups with a "Born To Lose" tattoo on my radiator?

Optimus Prime: No, I do not.

Megatron: Right. I am never goin' back.

Optimus Prime: Then don't take down planets.

Ahhhh...how amazing it could be

The next entry in the Transformers film series should be a musical.

The entry after that should be an uplifting working-through-the-ranks karate tale, with Jason Statham instructing some child actor how to take on the Decepticons through the art of Kumite.

A more accurate headline would be:

Michael Bay in Contract Negotiations for TRANSFORMERS 4 and 5; Will Deny Involvement Until Check Clears

Let's see what he says in a few weeks.

No, that's not what he said. There's a big difference between 'not going to do T4 and T5' and "I am currently not talking to Paramount on T4 and T5" no? it's probably the smartest thing to say at the moment. Door still open, yet he wants to do other projects as well, understandably so.

This would be so epic. I'd sit down for that.

Great. Now I gotta watch Heat tonight.

He also said that TF3 wouldn't have any "dorky humor." Have you really not caught on yet that Michael Bay is a pathological liar?

Here's an update on Mr shallow on the 4th one which is scheduled for 6/14 which is basically right around the corner. Well, lets hope for the best farewell going away party then shall we...

Michael Bay is taking a brief break from his widely successful Transformers franchise with the release of his black comedy Pain & Gain on April 26, 2013. After that, he'll return for the as-of-yet-untitled Transformers 4 on June 27, 2014 and, in a new interview with The Huffington Post the blockbuster director discusses both projects.

"I thought I was done," he recalls of previous claims that Transformers: Dark of the Moon would be his final entry into the franchise. "Then the ride came out and the two-and-a-half-hour lines. And then you're thinking, 'Oh my God, someone's going to take this over?' And you start doing a lot of soul-searching I'm thinking that if I do this last one, we set it on a new footing and we change a lot of things, but we keep the history of the three in place. But we broaden it so it can be set up and be carried on -- it would have a better chance for survival, I guess The bottom line is, when you go to Universal Studios and you have the two-and-a-half-hour line, it's hard to give it up. You birth a baby and you want to carry it on."

Bay goes on to explain that this is "probably" his last Transformers and teases a bit about the direction Ehren Kruger is taking the screenplay.

"We're basically taking from the history of where it was, or where we left it in Chicago," he says. "And we're going to carry it on from there."

Previous reports have suggested that the fourth film will include a brand new cast of both human and robot characters. Check back for more details as they become available!

Another update and this one quite juicy. I knew they want to bring Megan fox back and she deserves it.

Although details are decidedly few, Spoiler TV is reporting that Michael Bay's Transformers 4 could feature a female protagonist. According to the site, a search is now underway for an actress to play the leading role of a high school senior. Also being cast, they say, is the character's boyfriend, a Texan racecar driver.

Bay recently spoke about the project, now in development for a June 27, 2014 release, suggesting that this is likely the final Transformers adventure with him at the helm. Ehren Kruger is providing the screenplay which is rumored to take the storyline into outer space with a brand new cast of both humans and robots.

So bring a pregnant Megan back, hope they can photoshop those stretch marks out. Just saw this

Megan Fox

We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do. I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect.

We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love.

Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes. May God bless you and your families abundantly.
